DanBow Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 Going into Wrexham today so will pick up an M100 or M90/95 spring for my G&G, from the new shop. So, first time taking apart a gearbox in preparation. ? Im reasonably technically competent but old eyes and fat fingers might get in the way!

The_Lord_Poncho Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 A bit of grease in the cylinder too whilst you have it apart! The anti reversal latch is a right pain, and to a slightly lesser extent, the trigger (at least for me). Both will frequently pop out when you try to put the two halves of the shell back together.

I was thinking about cleaning it up a bit. Im put at the moment but I'll take some more pics later.

Not loads either. Shimming from the factory will be the absolute bare minimum. Do it properly and it'll run smoother, be quieter and last longer. DanBow 1
Sewdhull Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 You should get a couple of clips for the trigger and ARL. Makes a significant positive difference to putting the gearbox back together.
