davidf Posted May 11, 2024 Posted May 11, 2024 The current spring in the specna arms core gearbox seems alot shorter than the m100 and m110 I have. So when I changed the spring to either the m100 or m110. The spring doesn't sit like the default one does. The new ones don't sit straight. Someone told me this is normal till you fire it a few times and it straightens itself out. Is that true? For more info the AEG has a Quick Change system (have to remove the buffer tube, but its the same QC mechanic)
Shamal Posted May 11, 2024 Posted May 11, 2024 I have noticed this with my specna. I think that when you put the long screw that holds the stock tube back in it helps to straighten the spring. davidf 1

ak2m4 Posted May 12, 2024 Posted May 12, 2024 Springs are all different types of lengths, have different types of coils etc. have a read of some of spring threads here, lot of good info there. Colin Allen and Shamal 2
