Mtw feeding issues

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has the mk18. I just changed the hop chamber to to silent industries mtw alpha and their v2 nozzle, problem is it won't feed. I think the mags are feeding, the problem is with the unit or bucking. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this and could give me some guidance

You'll need to check that the nozzle withdraws far enough and /or the bucking isn't poking rearwards. Either of these will stop a bb entering the barrel, most annoyingly.

Hi,

Got the same issue with the MTW MK18
Installed the SI alpha, black nub and purple advanced wheel + SI Red nozzel V2.

PTS EMS1 250rds mag(brand new) shoots fist 100 bb with a lot of no feeds, then it shoots without any issue.
Most of the people I spoke about this issue, say its because of the GEN3 MTW CNC feed tube not compatible with after market parts.

So installed MTW phoenix, same issue.
Reinstalled the stock nozzle with SI Hop up = same issue

Reinstalled stock nozzle with Phoenix = same issue

Installed the poly hop up MTW = issue fixed

 

Did send a mail to Wolverine, asking if the MTW advanced feedtube is compatible with the MK18. No aswer yet.
Asked SI to help with this issue.

Got your solution. fixt it.

 

Between barrel spring and hopup you got a round clip. Dont use the white SI provided you, use the black from MTW(stock).

You need to put that clipp all the way in in the hopup(as far as you can put it in with manpower), its a rly tight fit.

 

This fixed my feeding issue, all gone with all the above hop up units.

@2RIR did you fix the issue?

 

With regards to the PTS mag your using, have you broken them in? (left them full for a week) as brand new PTS mags tend to not be happy until theyve had a bit of use.
