KWA Eve 4 pistol grip screw broken

Hello all 

 

before we play the blame game (me) 

I have a KWA Eve 4 as the title states, and I’m removing one of the bottom pistol grip screws to get access to the motor the internal plastic has snapped, and therefore the bottom plate has nothing to grip into and the motor won’t do what it’s supposed to. 
 

Does anyone know if a fix for this? 
 

The pistol grip is all part of the receiver so just replacing that isn’t an option. I’ve messaged KWA but not expecting much from them

Did it thread straight into the plastic or a metal insert?
