Popular Post GothicGhost Posted November 23, 2024 Popular Post Posted November 23, 2024 (edited) ,I was around 16 stone few years ago and over the years it been hard to shift the weight, I started running so I when airsoft with my son I could keep up and have fun without dying from exhaustion. So, over this year I have been running more and more, I started out slow from couch to 5K and in June I did my first race for life 10k event its so good getting across the finish line. I can now run the 10k distance without stopping and my current weight dropped to 13.4 stone at age 40 right now. Thanks. Galvatron Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 Really commendable work! Your health and wellbeing seem to have improved greatly from playing yet there is such ignorance that airsoft can be hugely beneficial. GothicGhost, Tackle, Nick G and 1 other 3 1

Airsoft has so many health benefits, even being out and about in nature can reduce blood pressure, although some moments in airsoft don't always do that lol!. HIT! HIT! HIIIIIITTTTTTTT! ? Anonymoose Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 Good on you mate. So far, airsoft has only reduced the size of my bank balance. (Significantly) ruskitseller, Krisz, Hotweeweejef and 1 other 1 3
Cannonfodder Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 Well done, the difference between the first and last photos is really clear. 9 hours ago, Galvatron said: there is such ignorance that airsoft can be hugely beneficial. Agreed. It definitely helps with both physical and mental health Nick G 1
Impulse Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 Very nicely done! Airsoft is a great hobby because it gets you out and about and it's pretty physically intensive. Even me playing like a sneaky sniper I still find myself burning a tonne of calories every airsoft game day! Also, being in shape makes airsoft more enjoyable, at least it does for me. Being able to do more is always nice.
ButcherBill Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 Well as a fat lad, I usually enjoy my game days. Never much running involved tho, I don't get a chance to play very often but should make more of an effort TBH. ruskitseller 1
Cannonfodder Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 That's one of the great things about this game, you can play at whatever pace you're comfortable with. Ian Bru and Galvatron 2

Cannonfodder Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 While I fortunately don't have to deal with the public at work I've had my share of mental health issues (along with probably a sprinkling of neurospicyness). The combination of being out in the countryside and having the distraction of the game to concentrate on really helps. Galvatron, Nick G and Lozart 3

Just being ouside in the coutry does you a power of good .Lets you decompress and re centre yourself. Cannonfodder 1
ParHunter Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 (edited) Unfortunately I can’t say the say the same for myself. Once I’ve put on all my gear I weigh a lot more ? Edited December 5, 2024 by ParHunter Rogerborg, GothicGhost and Impulse 3
Madhouse Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 Well done! Having taken my eye off the fitness ball of late, I'm now up to 15 stone. So this is just what I needed to kick my arse into gear! GothicGhost 1
