  1. OK so I know they sell crap guns to stupid people but really - do we need to endlessly fill the forum with crap like this? Doesn't it just seem a bit childish or is it just me?

  2. Best way to get a feel for airsoft guns is to go and play a skirmish and hire one for the day

  3. I know its hard with the younger generation and i know its probably just me as i was an instructor for the air cadets for many years but next time you see or hear something a bit "beyond belief" try and give them some of your time and help educate them to help increase the game play from them...if you can do it right the respect they feel for you ant other will increase and help them to realise the reality of computer games to reality to airsoft . We all deserve a chance to be helped at some point.

  4. Bitch please! My woman does as she's told! Ain't no woman gonna tell me what to do with my money! ... FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, NEVER TELL HER I SAID THAT OR SHE'LL BEAT ME AGAIN. ... Seriously though, as long as I keep most of my junk in my man-cave I can do whatever I want...

    The happy thread!

BACK FROM THE DEAD. POW. Over the last months at work, I've had a customer who refuses to pay his bill (I work at a storage center). Increasingly, he's been a nob to me, despite my best efforts to help him out of the deep hole he's got himself into. Today, he finally decided to try and pay his bill (although not the late charges and admin fees he owes, and even then, only half his bill anyway) whilst giving me some more abuse. I got to enjoy the look of despair on his face when I told him half his stuff had been sold for approximately £2000 and the rest had been crushed and then incinerated. I also got to enjoy him flipping out on the phone to his lawyer, because the stuff was worth over £35,000 to him and his company and his bill was only £2700. After that, I got to enjoy his lawyer telling him it was all his fault and that we had every right to go to debt collection for the remaining £700. The lesson? If you entrust someone with £35,000 worth of gear, and owe them £2700 for looking after it. Don't piss them off 'cause they have all the cards. Usually, I wouldn't bask in the joyous aura created by the misery of others, but this man deserves it and it goes some way to making up for the fact that my job is sh*t.

  10. Mine couldn't care less... I mainly get called a big child. Then she moans at me for finding bb's everywhere. And then she wants to pop smoke in the garden to see what it did... Then she goes back to calling me a big child...

  14. Exactly as the others have already said. Too many people turn up to their first airsoft game with a crappy gun from some 'bb guns' website (by the way don't buy from them) and find that their guns will not hit anybody and don't have a good time because of it. If you just want to do target shooting at home then a spring gun is fine. By the way, if you ever get into airsofting and skirmishes, and you would like your first gun, this is one a lot of people recommend: http://www.proairsoftsupplies.co.uk/cgi-bin/sh000001.pl?WD=trans&PN=cm16_carbine_transparent%2ehtml#SID=239 Don't want to sound like I'm getting a bit far ahead (can't think of how to say it tbh :/ ) but just giving a suggestion. Welcome to the forums as well.

  15. well tan doesn't look that bad but black looks better and for your first airsoft gun and battery i really wouldn't go for a lipo because if you aren't careful you can break them very easily overcharge them and when you use them they can blow up if you aren't careful honestly just get a nimh battery of zero one those things are much safer!
    2 points
  16. OK, before I make a comment. Rename the title to "The Team Flex Help Thread" then you won't have to spam. Secondly, tan + two tone looks hideous. I'd honestly go for a black one (with two tone) or ME I don't know why the hyperlink isn't bad. It's the best two tone and comes with everything you're going to need. (except bb's, you will go through bb's faster than Lindsey Lohan goes through cocaine)

  17. That looks awesome, very cyberpunk airsoft needs more games that step away from the standard military theme and experiment with new ideas.

  18. You'd have to spend bloody ages painting if you want to achieve that effect with a brush/airbrush. If I were you I'd strip the entire gun down and get the pattern hydrographically applied, or maybe go for something more simple you can do with spray paint and stencils. This is what I did with my rifle using a can of brown Krylon, a can of black PlastiKote and a circles stencil: You can achieve a great look without really complex paint jobs and still be able to easily resell your rifle. You could even make your own stencils with card and a craft knife, and then apply it with Krylon spray paint (the best kind for painting stuff that needs to be non-reflective)

  19. I'm with Tom on this. £15 will usually get you a rental gun and face protection, you just have to pay the site fee on top of that haha If it is just backyard plinking you want then get one of these: http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/Mossberg-590-Full-Stock-Shotgun-BB-Gun_AZJSR.aspx#.U4cRGom9LTo You can find them for really low prices on for sale forums usually (~£10). Transparent body so no worries with UKARA and shoots quite well being a really simple single shot rifle. Plus side if you get in the hobby it can be kept as a back up.

  20. Its great to read about peoples first airsoft experiences. As I'm still new I'm really crap lol, I am still wondering where people are enjoying at just before I get hit. My first skirmish was a bit of a nightmare, I brought & was wearing way too much kit....so was sweating like a sumo wrestlers gusset I had no idea what was going on & being hit from all directions. The Kiss principle has now taken hold of my load out & i've trimmed down my kit significantly since then. And I'm also learning the skills to be more useful

  21. Zeroone has had outstanding service every time i've used them, and they tend to have the cheapest prices most of the time.

  23. Since I've only had to deal with a "codsofter" once, I'm led to believe it's not the fault of the person - just a lack of knowledge all of us regulars take for granted. Case in point: A young lad turned up with a double eagle g36c rifle and kept calling people cheats because they were hitting him but he couldn't hit them despite having "really good aim" in his own words. He proved he was willing to learn when I took him aside and explained why his rifle was the problem and not his aiming - as politely as possible as I can't stand people who shout "call your hits" as much as I can't stand people who don't call hits. Gave him my back up rifle to borrow and he actually became quite a useful player - was crazily brave once he realised his shots were actually now hitting people. End of the day him and his mum thanked me as it saved him from spoiling his day by leaving early due to not having fun. Like others have said it's down to us regular players to tolerate this (to a degree) and help them integrate themselves into the hobby. The younger players will help expand our hobby and make it a lot better for us all in the long run. Obvious cheating though like "last stand"/"body armour" should be actively discouraged for everyone's sake. Diatribe over now haha

  26. Yes, to be honest you're much, much better off choosing an alternative from a UK based retailer, probably cheaper to buy, and most importantly, the retailer support and warranty. Evike arent regarded that highly.

Little M4 update; brown furniture: Left the pistol grip black as it's not the original grip and I didn't spray it with sh*tty black PlastiKote 'matte' paint.

Just happens to be the colour of the real steel version. Id imagine it has something to do with breaking up the solid block of black and being used in a desert environment https://danieldefense.com/m4a1-rail-interface-system-ris-ii.html

  36. Something like this should do: http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/rolson-6-part-damaged-screw-and-bolt-remover-n18cx You use them in an electric screw driver or a manual one and unscrew as normal. The tip of the extractor will bite into the worn screw and it should start coming out.

  37. Don't worry about the fps. Most sites have a 350 limit so you don't want to go over that. If you ever want to go to a CQB game then a 328 fps limit is likely. 320-330 is a good fps to have for a gun.

  40. My first game was in December 2012. I had a JBBG gun, which held up quite well as I was in CQB situations, and was absolute pish- I think that I only hit out 2 people that day...

  41. Note for those who have same issue in the future/want to not suffer this issue: Take the pistol grip/stock off. Carefully (but forcefully) bend the receiver casing out of the way and slide it back and up to remove it. On the Right hand side of the receiver is the 'cock-block' and spring, remove them. *they are the only removable components at this stage* Put the receiver shell back on, front end first and push it down at the back - this is a little more fiddly, but I've got the whole process start to finish down to under 2 minutes Reattach the stock

  47. I left a comment once, giving pretty decent constructive criticism and they pull it down. If JBBG created a political party, they would make freedom of speech illegal. I'm thinking about getting some custom patches with jambwow on with "Jambwow's Army" written underneath for my friends and I. Everyone else would ne so jealous...
