Just ordered a Condor Operator plate carrier and mag pouches to match, fancied giving them a try as they hold a price point between realsteel (WAS, LBT etc.) and cheap chinese crap (KombatUK, 8Fields & Viper) only thing I cheaped out on was I wanted to try one of those plastic quick mag holsters, see how long it takes me to lose a mag now ?. Hopefully holds up nicely as I thought a plate carrier, triple stanag mag (open top), double stanag mag (foldover top), double pistol mag pouch and a double frag pouch for £160 wasn't too bad.

Sod that I like the drama....

I ordered a nub from Dave and received it. He even followed up in mid-October to make sure everything was good. (It is. The nub is a simple upgrade, well-machined, and works great.) Dave - I hope everything is ok man! A GBB will vary FPS depending on temp. An NPAS or the Angry Gun nozzle are good ways to be able to quickly adjust your FPS depending on weather. Also, I could be wrong, but that looks like a Maple Leaf Autobot or Decepticon 70 degree bucking to me. If it is, that’s a good bucking. Hi everyone. Have you all seen the new Modify X-Range buckings? They’re silicon, which I’m a little wary of. But the design looks interesting - maybe good airseal (although I can get that with teflon tape anyway) and they have an interesting design for the contact area - a split section to center the bb followed by a solid section to impart more spin. Just curious if they actually work well in real life.

The evolution from the last pic. LVPO still hasn't arrived from China, but the MK18 Mod 1 now sports a Vortex Crossfire, with KAC style flip up front and rear sights, the Mod 0ish has the carry handle and the 416 has an EoTech EXPS3, as well as an element PEQ15. Dremeled down the finger groove on the Mod 1 too, and abused it with sugru. SOPMOD stock added and the VLTOR style stock gifted to the 416 to help with the two tone look.

General question re; harness+belt vs. a plate carrier - does a plate carrier setup help much in the winter we're now getting into? In the summer I'd sweat buckets with just my harness and belt, I suppose a shirt under my invader gear top might help in winter but yeah just wondering how they fare for you guys in different weather. Edit: Might aswell post my helm. Got my new TMC RAC headset in tan today, looks a lot better imo; vs old;
