Picked up one of those cheeky £99 TM Hi Cappa DORs from ESC. My first Hi Cappa type.

Well I have had a roller coaster of a day. First the Bad: I was doing a regular cleaning of the Striker and suddenly PING off goes one of the screws into the depths to my pit room. I took 2 hours, lots of swearing, a dill and pulling up floorboards before I found the f’ing thing. I really need to get a magnetic mat. Now the Good: After a little light perusing of the internet I found a series of triggers again for the Striker (no your obsessed) and after invoking many deities over a bloody screw I managed to get this fitted and I quiet like it. So, positives I guess.

Came on monday; I got some gas today and after filling it I can hear it hissing out the fill valve. it's slow and quiet but if I stick my ear near I can hear it clearly - rather than returning for a replacement and such would just getting a replacement valve work? I did a quick search on patrolbase and saw that they aren't exactly standardized; https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/baal-gas-filling-valve-for-we-kj-gbb-series / https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/asg-kwa-magazine-bottom-fill-valve - I'll screw the valve out later and wrap the thread in plumbing tape and then try it, also will take a pic of what it looks like - but don't suppose anyone has an answer to this offhand? Thanks. By the way what's the point in the space for 2 extra shells in the cylinder below the barrel? to get them out you have to unscrew this cap on the end which takes about 30 seconds, and it seems to be literally just for storing 2 shells because it doesn't load a new one in or anything. Anyone know how to switch from 3 shot to 6 or back etc? I saw how in a youtube vid a while ago but I can't find the one that shows how again. Thanks in advance. Edit: Valve pics. I wrapped the thread in plumbing tape and put it back in tight, filled it up, can still hear a hissing coming from the valve although not as bad as before. based on what the valve looks like can anyone point me to where I can find a suitable replacement? it looks pretty standard to me and as long as it fits into the stock on the gun I don't see much of a problem with regards to compatability(?). https://imgur.com/a/BtxfqL8

My G&P m4 has that feature, however the recoil is so heavy it normally unlock it itself. The Daytona guns are well worth their money and time spent though, hell of a lot of fun and noise!!

Just had a Magpul FPG kit arrive. Awesome...

I really fancy a daytona gun, needs to be one with bolt stop though for me. Vortex Crossfire red dots are excellent for the price.

Recieved my 3rd Daytona gun, this one is an AK I brought from forum user @proffrink So far I had the M4 put together by Blackblitz airsoft in Canada, I put together the Scar and Proffrink built the AK for me. New specna arms SPECNA ARMS SA-A27-M CARBINE / BLACK It's official I'm a fully paid up specna arms fanboy load it with a 7.4 lipo 330 fps set hop for .28 loaded it up and watched them fly out accurately to a distance that scared my sorted Tokyo Marui No play in any parts, m-lok that works and solidly built with a full metal body i simply cannot fault this Aeg at the price point, if the gear box and hop alignment is good for the inferno gen 2 HPA engine that is going in it I will be a very happy bunny.

Best holster I've ever got my mits on, I'm using mine on a UBL with QLS. I'm a little obsessed with it! Need one of those PTT retainers too. Just got this, but nowhere has TAG Shells in stock. ?

I realize this is an old thread but I had just recently acquired the WE L85 GBB and am very happy with it. It came with the standard handguard and I changed it to a Madbull Daniel Defence rail - this is a used one from an ICS AEG. The adaptor needs to be modified so that is fits the WE L85. Also changed the iron sights to a G&G SUSAT and the mount needed to be shimmed as indicated in the earlier posts above.
