    THE TM MWS thread

@Hypokondrikern The MWS itself is pretty lightweight, especially with a modern hand guard/rail. The trigger set is proprietary ZET system, you’d be a fool to change it out, all made of steel, and superbly reliable. The buffer tube and receiver are also high quality aluminium, and the receiver is cerakote’d.

TM ones are like rocking horse poop..... you won't easily find them... I have a spare G&P one in case my Marui one goes pop... In fact Eagle6 makes their own version of the MGG2-121 (that's the part number)... I wasn't aware of that until just now....only £10!! perfect https://eagle6.co.uk/shop/catalog/product/view/id/6343/s/eaglesix-bcg-nozzle-return-spring-for-tm-m4-mws-gbbr/

  7. On TM mags normal air is dispelled from the full valve whilst gassing up. Thus you fill with gas, hissing is normal air vacating the mag, then when you get a spurt of gas/liquid the mag is brimmed.

They are set by government, it’s not whether or not HMRC want to be bothered with doing it https://www.gov.uk/goods-sent-from-abroad/tax-and-duty https://www.gov.uk/guidance/vat-and-overseas-goods-sold-directly-to-customers-in-the-uk (Subject to specifics of whether it’s direct sale to a customer, commercial sales to a VAT registered business etc ....) Up to £135 sales = VAT to be charged at point of sale, no duty due Over £135 sales = Charges raised at the border. VAT applies, duty may apply depending on the item category and point of origin of the product / component parts
