I have two of them, last time I took them out was to the department in Croft and I got them chrono’ed, well we tried too as one Chrono didn’t register but the other one was saying like <25fps on 0.12’s they was much amusement to all kinda hard to dual wield as the spinny fire selector was hard on the left thumb not to mention the 4 x pencil batteries per gun

I like Connery but I must be one of the few who likes Moore more ? I worked on the VFX for two Bonds, Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies.

So a while ago I had a tm ngrs ak and ended up deciding it was fun but not worth what I paid for it. So I sold it and deciced to only buy ngrs rifles broken and in need of work. Here is what I have got my hands on so far, both for significantly less than I would have otherwise paid for them. Keeping my eyes out for an ak now.

Here's another photo of my URGI build with the aforementioned Magpul SL-K stock! IMO it's superb and suits the smaller 10.3" build with its compact low drag design much better than the CTR. I'd like to compare it with the SL though and see how fits in the middle? Great write up about the SL and size comparison between all three here. P.S you can add a QD sling point by fitting a Magpul M-Lok QD point through the sling loop slot, granted its not ambi, but you can't have it all. ? https://thereptilehouseblog.com/2021/01/17/review-magpul-moe-sl-stock-review/ As for my MRE I've fitted some obligatory KAC style rail covers which just suit the rail perfectly! At the same time I also installed a Wiitech KAC style trigger guard to compliment the test of the Knight's goodies. Picked up a Vortex Strikefire 2, but then a day later a friend of a friend contacted me regarding a genuine Eotech 551 something I've been looking for to no avail... A very good price for a rare albeit used holographic sight but its the perfect cherry for this MRE cake! ? Updates to follow of course and there's still a few more bits to get, but I'm really pleased with it's progress I just want to get out and bloody use it!

Craig has got to take it as the best portrayal of Bond. He is the most human, has believable flaws and therefore is the most relatable. Connery and Lasenby are too perfect and make too few mistakes. I also think I could take either one of them in a fight. I know that Craig would hand my arse to me on a plate.

Craig is just doing what Dalton did 20 years earlier. not saying thats a bad thing but Dalton does get the credit he deserves his bond was too soon for the time.

I think it’s a close call between Connery and Craig. Craig brought a vulnerability to Bond not seen before. Sky fall was showing the other day and I thought that’s a damn good movie and Craig’s portrayal of Bond I thought was really good. Then again I also watched Kindergarten Cop so what do I know. ?

My 'Rustys Rigs' SBS-Style SF Extraction Chest Rig arrived this morning. Very pleased for £40. I forgot how practical these style of rigs are. Very nicely made, the straps could be a touch longer, but it still just about fits my slightly rotund post 'xmas and lockdown' figure. Not my pic - Taken from the Rustys Rigs FB page:

Nearly! They're tiny! The'yre also not very good ? I had the MP5 about 20 years ago originally, they take about 80-100 bbs in through the top of the gun, like a hopper.. Fires about the same distance as a springer pistol and only does full auto. But they're funny as hell. Wanted another for ages now for the lols, but the Marui ones are hard to come usually unless you import from Rainbow 8 etc. Didn't want the shitty orange ones they sell at Justbb. The mini Uzi is the coolest of the lot I think

Well, it allows you to use heavier bb’s, which seem to go further. I use Geoff’s .32 and a Modify X bucking with my Six G nub, they go miles - all the way right over there. I’d go heavier, but .32 are the heaviest Geoff’s make tracer, and I wanted to use the same weight for both tracer and normal. Costs tend to go up the heavier the ammo as well.

The K version is a lot smaller. the MOE SL is the CTR replacement, the SL-K has no anti wobble built in where the SL does. The K is more along the line of the original MOE with no anti wobble. Edit: the K also has no QD sling mount, like the original MOE. I have an SL en route so I will do a comparison with my original MOE and the CTR.

A bit of a ressurection project here. I bought this star m14 ebr about 3 years ago because it is a lovely chunk of c&c aluminium. It uses a proprietary gearbox and though I managed to get a new shell I soon realised that I couldent get the switch. So it sat and gathered dust for a long time. Recently I picked up a cyma m14 gearbox and a dremel and set to work. Unfortunately since the m14 gearbox has a sideways motor the current stock wont fit. Ill be making a layered plywood target shooting style stock instead. It will also be a good test run for the sks project I have planned in future. still working out how best to attach it as the bracket currently stops the motor from seating fully. Im happy to be finally making progress on this gun and It should be done soon. The main gearbox shell fits very tightly but ive found I had to remove the selector mech to get it to work so this is now a semi auto only gun. Parts I still need to source: some sort of bracket to bolt the stock to new charging handle as the old one shattered lots of little bolts

Haha, arguably George Lazenby was a better Bond than Sean Connery or Roger Moore though.
