Asahi MG34. Found it's new home with a WWII collector today.

Most of my kit in one photo, still some not included lying around. Guns - Asahi MG34 Shoei MP44 Custom Real Steel build K98K w/ Rudiger Hildesheim ZF39 Custom real steel build MG42 Tanaka Luger A fair chunk of the uniform is now real or very very good repros (SMWholesale etc). Taken years to get to this point.

I’m using a 50deg pink flamingo in my MK23 and it seems pretty decent. Although I’ve not managed to range test it properly beyond 40m as of yet.

Flamingo is what Skirmshop were pre-upgrading the first few batches they had with before sending them out. From what I've read the latest strain are decent, happier in a BASR than a pistol but from most AAP users I'm seeing with them they are happy enough with the range. I just can't help myself to not break habit and go with a 70° decepticon though.

Nozzle requires minor mods. Already done and tested this and it works perfectly with the TM mags (curved seal).

Very much ‘just another mayo AR’, but it’s my ‘just another mayo AR’. Finally got around to modifying the dust cover so it holds shut, and threw a PDI 6.05 barrel in there (no idea what effect that’s going to have until I get an opportunity to shoot it further than I currently can). Just waiting on a Mini2 replica to show up from HK (ordered mid December, so lord knows when that’ll show up) and I reckon the dishes are done. Turns out the colour of BCM FDE looks nothing like it does in person in photos ??‍♂️.

So, I was just browsing for "airsoft skins" and found this chap that does Camo Wraps for the AAP-01 (plus a few others). He's based in France though so not sure what the postage cost would be. He sells both the pre-cut templates below and also A4 sheets of the wrap. ...I guess the wrap could be bought over here and one could do similar. But does it though? The seller (rightly) listed other flaws with the gun (i.e. cracked magazine shrouds) - but neglected to mention a big show-stopper for a lot of people. That, IMO, is misrepresentation. Hopefully the buyer will raise a dispute (assuming they used PayPal). I would apoplectic with rage if this had happened to me. This x1000. Absolutely spot on. It should be a rule for using the classifieds.

so a man decides to go for a sunday afternoon drive. as he's driving along down a windy country road enjoying the scenery a rabbit suddenly darts out of the hedge just ahead of him. he's not daydreaming so much as to take his eyes off the road he spots it and swerves to avoid hitting it, but alas it's too late and he feels the thump thump as his car hits the animal. he slams on the brakes in shock screeching to a halt while his mind catches up with events. he gets out of the car, and being an animal lover he's horrified to see the twisted body of the rabbit lying a few dozen yards back in the road. he approaches slowly, realizing there is nothing he can do for the poor animal he breaks out in tears, his afternoon ruined. then another car comes around the corner, a low-slung sports car. seeing him in the road the driver stops and gets out- a beautiful young woman with long blonde hair "whatever's the matter" she asks him, her voice laced with concern. "it's all my fault, i'm a horrible person, i killed the rabbit" the man mutters through his sobbing. the woman looks around, now spotting the mangled ex-rabbit in the road "don't worry" she says comfortingly, reaching into her handbag and pulling out a spray can. she then proceeds to spray the entire contents of the can onto the hare. to the mans shock the rabbit twists and contorts back into a lifelike shape, suddenly springing up full of life. the rabbit raises a paw in the air almost like it was waving at the pair of them. the rabbit then hops off, apparently unfazed by it's recent ordeal, every few yards it stops and raises its paw as before as if to wave goodbye. it keeps doing this until finally it crests a nearby hillock and dissappears reality descends again and the man turns to the woman in confusion "what the hell was that you just did?" he asked, incredulous at this miraculous turn of events. the woman simply hands him the empty can, he takes it and glances at the label which reads: "hair spray- restores life to dead hair and adds wave" plz no ban.....
