Hi, ALL! ?
Today I received a package from Russia, as much as I want to say what it is, show some pics, I will put it in a video of mine! ?
I can wait to show it, need to sort it out and a new customisation unlocked for my Loadout! ???
?GAMBLE?
OK, so the lower is done. The Cowcow internals and GM trigger are in place.
The trigger is almost a direct fit but a little adjustment was required to allow it to pull back far enough to release the hammer. You can see it has small extra protrusions to limit over-pull after the release. One possible downside with aftermarket triggers is you do lose the safety.
I Modified the auto sear to match the original.
I also took some pictures of the mods I made to the nozzle. You just need to cut/file the rear profiIe to match the original and trim the side guides by the smallest amount (about 0.5mm) to allow it to slide smoothly in the bolt/BBU. Just shave a little at a time until it moves freely like the original.

I found that the Cowcow hammer roller caused a very sticky slide so although this picture has the silver Cowcow part this has now been replaced by the original. All fires nice and smoothly now.

Small update of my Specnas and AAP
Bottom left is my wanker gun (Titan, 28.5RPS and ludicrous response), top 933 is slightly less wanker at 27.5 RPS and runs on a Warfet.
the Magpul handguard is definitely NOT FDE -.- can't complain though, it's PTS and got it for €9. More comfortable to hold than the standard 933 handguard.
ARES APC9. lovely firing little AEG. As with most Ares products a bit of TLC will make the most of it. Already sorted out the wobbly stock by replacing the 2 springs under the stock catch button and is now a lot better.
inner barrel is only about 130mm and the stock rubber seems meh so I'll probably replace both of these soon. The bolt handles have a bit of wobble as well when folded so I'll probably replace the springs in them as well to keep them from rattling about when folded to the side.
The mags are a bit stiff in the magwell but I think this will get better with use. The rubber bumps on the base of the magazine are a nice touch but I might bin them so that I can cram more mags into a M4 pouch.
oh and the pin that holds the stock on, that you need to remove to fit a battery, is the tightest I've ever come across.
