@RebelScum Does indeed seem to be a UPS thing. I got my EMS, FedEx and DHL parcels in usual time. What frustrates me is the lack of transparency and communication. They don't even offer a webchat function. They make you wait on hold for 45 minutes. Service has fallen through the floor yet their prices have risen. They don't even offer any service guarantee anymore and haven't done for nearly a year.

I don't think any of these delays are anything to do with the inspection of the parcels by Customs per se, and more to do with the fact that UPS seems to be in meltdown and seem to be incapable of processing and delivering parcels at the moment. Other courier firms are getting parcels through from the EU absolutely fine, and whilst there is a Covid impact on Border controls I think the situation with UPS is down to UPS. Some of the recent reviews for UPS I've seen online are suggesting a 5-week delay from postage (and ironically most of this time seems to be spent in the UK), which supports the information that @EvilMonkee managed to get that his parcel is currently sat in a container. I suspect there are quite a few GF and TG parcels in there with his, all waiting for someone in UPS to be assigned to them. Depending on how this all pans out it might be worth giving some feedback to TG and GF and asking them to consider offering alternative couriers, as relying on UPS may well impact their business. I for one will be very wary after this experience. Fingers crossed someone gets their parcel soon, as it'll give everyone an idea as to how long these imports are taking with UPS.

Man this thread is epic. Love that you've built your pistol for Z mart. This lockdown has really channeled people into doing these kinds of builds. So much progress and that feeling when parts arrive you can't replace.

I’ve been thinking about ordering a couple of the G&P mags to try out, but I’m not sure if 10 extra bb’s are worth it for all that cost. And in my opinion they do look a bit daft, like cumbersome dongs. I was surprised to find that skirmishing with 35 bb mags was fine, 5/6 mags really lasted. I tried my nice AEG MP7 the other day for a couple of 100 bb mags and I didn’t know what to do with all the extra shots. It felt boring and lifeless.

have to say perun top class customer service emailed them last night around midnight about issues with my mosfet they replied by 12pm today and will be sending out a replacement bottom v2 mosfet pcb and there next gen v2 mosfet to try in both gearboxs for them

I managed to get a RS Magpul QD plate to fit on my MWS with no mods. The only issue is that it is slightly larger than the TM buffer tube so it rotates slightly as you tighten it up. Just requires patience turning it in the right place to set it in the right position. Here's an older photo of my URGI build that shows it fitted. Works perfectly with Ferro Concepts QD loops. ?
