I've started a YouTube channel dedicated to my airsoft stuff. I only intended the footage to be clipped together so my kids could see what I do when I go absent from parenting for the day but thought why not stick them on YouTube so I can be immortalised in history as being a nobody? Link to my channel right here First airsoft video I've ever made. Yeah the camera quality could be better (not moaning at £30 cam though) and yes the editing and transitions should be better (not a Vegas genius) but hopefully you watch/like/sub/enjoy it.1 point

Small update on where I am with my little channel and where I want to go with it. Over the last week I've invested in a proper GoPro to improve the quality of the footage on my videos, the £30 Apeman just isn't cutting it any more and I've also upgraded my video editor software and brought that up to date as well (Magix/Sony/Vegas Movie Studio 17 Platinum is currently only £30 for anyone interested). With regards to the footage, the last however many weeks have been fun going over the technicals and spec lists of my weapons and I've not really started on my "primary" weapons yet but as we are now less than a month away from getting back out there I will be swinging my focus towards some honest gameplay footage, no hit marker stuff, just honest POV of some of the game situations and sites I go to with the odd montage added in for when there has been a fast paced CQB session. Speaking of which... there is now another CQB due to open up within 20 minutes of where I live which is going to give me a nice variance of location especially when tied in to my montly "big" outing with the rest of the Recon101 guys. My channel has already hit my first self imposed milestone and has surpassed 50 subscribers, not sure how or why given most of the content is me ranting about how shite Golden Eagle pistols are but thank you to those already subbed and for anyone reading and who isn't yet, please do give me a sub as I would really like to make it to 100 subs before summer. Overall I'm super exctied to be getting back out next month and given how much turmoil is caused online by clickbaited videos, false claims of many descriptions and the general focus on promoting "angst". I am looking forward to reflecting a true airsoft experience even if it doesn't get my views into the thousands. A lot of love going out to "my guys" @Flintlock @DECO290597 - can't wait to get back out as a group again and a strong nod in the direction of @KJB as I can't wait for us to start hitting up the CQB's locally and causing a ruckus! ?1 point

I'm inclined to agree. I've written to TG again this week to press the point that this is reflecting so badly on their business and everyone affected is going to think twice about using any retailer that uses UPS (for anything). If you used PayPal for the purchase you have 180 days from the purchase date to open a dispute over the purchase. I think the retailer needs to prove the item was sent (which TG will be able to do), but they won't be able confirm delivery, which is the issue for the buyer. I had a similar issue with a parcel that was lost in the Russian postal system and PayPal refunded me once they'd reviewed the case. I would assume that there would be similar limits on the time you have to open a case also apply if you've used different methods of credit. @Laserhawk's experience suggests that UPS are perhaps concentrating on dealing with parcels that have just been imported (e.g. not adding to the backlog), although it could also be put down to general incompetence, given that no RIF paperwork was demanded. Given how my own parcel hasn't been scanned since the 8th March I'm wondering if it's suffered the fate of many parcels in this warehouse. I'm interested to see if @L3wisD and @kasaran receive anything on Monday 15th March. This for me will be the test of UPS. If parcels start to arrive (giving a 4-week delivery time) then there is hope that UPS are attempting to clear these imports from TG. If not I'll be looking to dispute my purchase, given online distance selling rules in both the UK and EU state that the retailer has 30 days to deliver the goods, after which they become liable to make refunds.1 point

User on here rocketdogbert HPA is the devils work though, maybe just try shooting less and using black gas unless it’s sub zero, and then at that point just stay at home?1 point -

New Coyote Tan set-up starting to take shape. Still a couple of additions/substitutions to go, particularly with the mag pouches, but so far really happy with most of the gear from Warrior.1 point -

A TM G34 with all the trimmings (shoutout to the lovely Prowin mags) and a pair of TRMRs with multi shot bases from a lovely bloke on here that’s unfortunately leaving the game. Genuinely gutted because I’d have loved to get some games in with him, but it’s come to a good home. This’ll be the new ‘CQB primary’ stuff. The arrival of some additional long WTFix straps means I could finish putting the Crye Airlite chest rig together, and my Ferro FCPC v5 arrived from the US. Placard is very much a placeholder, not entirely settled on what will live there just yet.1 point -

I have a TK45C and yeah, really surprised by the weight. I have the stubby PTS foregrip and run a 551 clone and PEQ15 on it. Time to go back to basic; "Press up position, DOWN!"1 point -

Not just on Z1: Then, there's this: £240 gun new - check £40 Nuprol Tracer - check a crappy extra mag - Priceless and some left over meh (at best) BBs. And a couple of batteries So the guy effectively wants damned near full retail back. Could of at least cleaned the gun before the photos.1 point -

It's not a Brexit thing or just our government; the EU has been planning to do this for some time and would have introduced it at the same time as us, but they delayed implementing them until July due to the coronavirus: https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/business/vat/modernising-vat-cross-border-ecommerce_en1 point

as much as we might have sympathy for the shops, maybe we should be hassling them about all this, if only to make them see how bad the problem is and maybe switch couriers?1 point -
I had an email from this address: acharizalynn@ups.com It relates to the actual person though, rather than a general inbox. Hope this helps. My package arrived today!! Best part is, this is the second of two parcels sent out by TG. The first one is still in Stanford, and has been for 3 weeks now. This second one was in Poland for 3 weeks, and yesterday was imported, then today was delivered. No customs clearance, no firearms form, no English invoice. Its very clear that UPS are all over the place. There's still hope out there guys.0 points
