@Helyk can you get more vertical pistol grips for the MCX? Ive always been suprised SiG put such an angled grip on what is a close quarters gun. Got my P90 together and im back in love, shouldnt have sold my old one years back, running sweet at 22RPS / 325 FPS with perfect timing / no overrun fully mechanical on the original TM wiring! Just waiting on the Shadow Regime M-Trigger to land and i can hook it up with the WarFet I know Asomodai will respect the bullpup ?

I think we lack a thread for the more creative and technical side of things like homemade accessories and 3D printing/CAD. So... what have you made? Or, are making right now? Can be anything from cutting and filing some mask to suit you, to more grandiose projects like making your own ghillie suit, or some 3D CAD model of yet another M4 handguard. Concepts and ideas are cool too if you have something to visualize it. I guess I'll start: Made a lightweight outer barrel for an M4 from scratch in fusion360: Gonna make a lightweight handguard to pair with it and then print them both in a bronze/copper finish. Dramatic weight losses inc.

@Hypokondrikern I have no idea how she performs yet as I stupidly broke the bolt catch when manhandling the trigger box. I have just received and fitted a new one, but it was too late for any testing. I will shoot it for the first time tomorrow so will report back offer that.

New rig suggestions? Ideally something that complements my helikon tmr and smersh. No plate carriers, I don't like them.

Thanks, but I only run this gun on 7.4s, trigger response on precocking is amazing and 22 RPS is just about the right rate of fire for my tournaments, gives me enough volume of fire to give cover and at the same time I'm not dumping an entire high cap in 3 seconds

Tiny update on my tournament M4: Wanted to experiment with the King Arms PDW stock. I'll get another one because it's super lightweight and it actually has some space inside for a somewhat chunky battery! Actually these are just printed on paper. You take the mag apart, the clear plastic piece pops out, stick them down with selotape, trim and re-assemble. I can share file I used to print on a normal paper printer if you want?

I got a load of V2 mags and cut the tube down anyway. Ran 5 mags Sunday, gassed them the night before and I gassed them at dinner. Filled all of them up with bb’s repeatedly and it showed no sign of even slowing down. Until it stops working, I’ll always just the tubes short

not sure if this really counts but printed out some bullet heads and fixed them to the inside of the AK12 magazine to improve the look.

EDIT: Well...seems like someone beat me to it ---------------------------------------- If you are not familiar with 4UAD SmartAirsoft on YouTube, now's the time to check them out! It's a relatively new channel dedicated to doing methodical and scientifically sound reviews of airsoft replicas. If you ask me, they are quickly becoming the gold standard in how airsoft guns should be reviewed. Anyway, they just hit a homerun with their newest review of no other than the Tokyo Marui MWS. An absolute must watch for all followers of this thread! And if you ask me, the go-to review of the MWS (with BadaBing's being a very close second).

I would check that the trigger box is seated fully in the lower receiver and that the fire selector is pressed in fully. After that I would look to remove it (possibly with a drift if it is stiff...just be careful!) and look for burrs or other damage to it. Then check the trigger box components it interfaces with and check the trigger function. Maybe test the trigger box out of the gun with the selector fitted?

I'm sure there used to be a "what have you 3D printed" page.....anyway, Tired of swapping chest rigs over when you switch AEG platforms?, fed up of moving pouches on and off your plate carrier when you switch from an M4 to a MP7. Well I know I was so I knocked these up. Slides into the M4 pouches easily and holds 2 mags each. The mags are held securely so when you remove one the other one isn't flapping about inside the pouch and falling out when you bend over. Right now I've got designs for TM MP7 GBB, AEG Kriss Vector and the ARP 9. I'll probably add the MP5 style mags next.

Grey is good. I use black with multicam. Seems to work quite well.

Okay so I checked that the trigger box was seated in fully and same for the fire selector. Everything seemed to be just fine. Tried to forcefully pull the fire selector off by myself with no luck. Then I clamped the gun into my desk and had my wife push the fire selector from the other side while I wiggled it around and pulled with pliers. Finally it came off. I then removed the trigger box and checked it in and out. Nothing seemed to be off, same for the fire selector itself. So I just ended up reassembling the whole thing and now everything seems to be working as it should. I have no idea what was wrong in the first place.
