My first Hi Capa!

Thought I'd have to start a thread on here for those of us that have already found this awesome Hi-Capa boutique to have a bit of a chinwag and to steer those who haven't in the right direction. https://hicapahub.co.uk/ HCH is a one-stop-shop for higher-end Hi-Capa parts, run by one of the most brutally honest enthusiasts I've encountered. If Kyle won't run it himself, he won't range it - a philosophy many other retailers should take note of! I've been in contact recently with Kyle as I've stumbled and bodged my way through building my first Hi-Capa and the advice I've received has allowed me to build a bespoke handgun that performs like a champ, even in the cold! As his business grows, he's adding more and more products to his site, most noticeably, he's the only place outside of Asia that seems to have stock of Airsoft Masterpiece Advance Frames. Old skool 'new old stock' ICS M4 Commando with Stubby Stock. So old, it still has (somewhat crappily implemented) Cybergun-Licensed Colt trades. It weighs practically nothing - I will be be keeping this one as light as possible.

If by block 1 you mean the 14.5 inch MWS then yes it is 14mm CCW. I assume that all the other models would all be the same as well.

No experience with their ambi selector but I have a full set of their tigger internals and the materials, fit and finish are top notch. Might get some more of their stuff in the future.

Finished setting up my helm today; TMC helm, mandible, headset, cover, xiaomi yi action camera, lipo usb battery in back pouch for camera power. 3M clear safety glasses. Wove some cord through the arc rails, might swap the nvg shroud for a tan one, or how does black look? I wanted black rails with tan cord, too, but couldn't find any spare parts for it (TMC helmet, but I bought some black TMC rails from aliexpress and they aren't the same shape). My kit (clothing) is multicam, gear like belt/rig/pouches all ranger green, primary a SCARH with heavy tan/black aesthetic.

I got a load of V2 mags and cut the tube down anyway. Ran 5 mags Sunday, gassed them the night before and I gassed them at dinner. Filled all of them up with bb’s repeatedly and it showed no sign of even slowing down. Until it stops working, I’ll always just the tubes short

Not sure what the physical difference in the internals but the out-of-the-box efficiency means that the "green gas" mod (chopping the fill tube) isn't needed. Search for Baddabing's MWS video on Youtube as I think he covered this last year (MWS 4 years later video?!)

Yes and no. They are reasonably stiff and come in a variety of lengths however they are also two part assemblies so make sure the grub screws are tightened up and loctighted... Don't make the mistake I did and send the outer barrel flying mid fire fight ?

Oh that's easy.... get the CQBR version..... then buy a Madbull Daniel MK18 rail (9.5 inch version in tan/dark bronze/or whatever the colour is) and the Mk18 Marui flip up iron sights and boom! Job done... Oh of course you'll need the correct wrench at a PTS GBBR spacer and some shims..... piece of cake!
