It's still needing a little more finishing in terms of wood stain and metal finish, but it shoots straight and true now. Umarex SAA with home made 16" barrel, 407mm inner barrel, prometheus flat hop.

TM USP compact, its awesome but struggles with .28s so mr.hop 60 degree and a crazy jet barrel are on the way for it.

This thread is really making me want to keep my 4.3 and put all these bits on it but £170 for a frame and £200 for a grip! ? I've also just picked up a Gold Match and very tempted to send it to Mike Cripps, so he can fit a black AM Limcat slide with Gold enameling etc. How much would that negatively impact the cooldown side of things though?

Finally managed to pick up a real Unity Fast mount. A big thanks to a fellow forum member for selling it. I have to agree with online reviews, the aiming through the red dot is so much quicker and stops you craning your neck when aiming (if that makes sense ). Downside is that I can’t use my 3x mag as that sits too low!! Nothing that a riser won’t fix though.

I thought Canuckistan was planning to ban all transactions involving assault-style toys and essentially kill airsoft? It does seem to be somewhat of a lottery regarding importation, and something to bear in mind that is UKARA (and similar schemes) provide a defence to the offence of trying to import. They are not a licence to do so, although Border Farce have historically chosen to treat them as one - but are under no obligation to do so. Another fun twist is that Border Force do not even hold figures on how often they check defences for importation of RIFs! So I'd follow @Mr. No_Face's advice and declare, declare, declare. If you can adduce evidence that you are an active airsofter in Canada, that can't hurt, and if you can book ahead at an airsoft site in the UK for soon after your arrival, I'd go ahead and do that too. But there's always going to be a risk that you run into a jobsworth who (sadly but correctly) knows that a defence is not a licence and that they're under no obligation to let the killer death toys in.

Hello & welcome! Have a chat with customs and tell them what you’re doing and I’m sure they’ll set you straight on what you need to do. UKARA is a defence for having a reason to buy a RIF and is to protect retailers rather than you. Many shops will just take proof you’re going Airsofting as a defence so it’s certainly not something you have to wait for before buying stuff. But hopefully you can import your kit anyway. Unless of course you want an excuse to buy shiny new toys, in which case there’s no chance of importing your kit and you must buy new stuff when you get here ?

Omw back from the Midlands Airsoft Fair. It was okay, but not quite as good as the last one in 2019, imo. Picked up a CYMA AK74U, a few mags & sights and that was about it. Typical that I realised I could have got myself a railed upper receiver for it there too, only AFTER I'm on the way home. ??

the skeleton kit doesn't have the trades and the pistol grip is AEG spec so you can use any AEG pistol grip. Stock choice is the same as a NGRS so if you can fit a 11.1v in it then it will work. I was going to comment on the fact that some people are going to swear by GBB's and forgetting the reason they bought a GBB was that no AEG had a decent recoil but then I noticed you mentioned WE and I came to the conclusion you are just clickbaiting as the 4 WE GBB's I have here a testiment that they are the worst airsoft guns out there.

Had an awesome evening at ZedMart last night. Forgot to bring a change of clothes for my top half so ran around in a hoodie I found in the van until I nearly dieded of heat exhaustion. Ended up playing in what I dub “Office Tactical” for a bit… Realised I had a souvenir from the game this morning!

Mmm, I never used to be bothered about MEDs until I started running a BASR and DMR (not at the same time, pedants). Now all I see is players disregarding MED and ROF, and it never being picked up on by marshals, even when you point it out. It's a very slippery slope - once you see someone else taking the piss with them, there's always a temptation to get a few metres closer, or twitch your finger a bit quicker.

you've not met the kind of players i've seen, our record so far is failing to call a broadside from a 40-mike...... couple of months back running the dragonuv there was a chap in that position, called me over to take a shot (because of course big gun with a scope=more range but that's by the by and tbf i was yeeting .48's), my first shot went about a foot over the guys head, close enough for him to flinch but definately not a hit, meanwhile all i'm hearing is "you hit him you hit him". likewise yesterday i was being credited with a double kill despite being 99% certain the first guy the bb passed didn't make contact (ironically he was the guy i was aiming at, the second bloke walked out at the wrong time) unless you not only see the bb land, but you know it's close enough to impact with authority and hasn't bounced off a mag pouch or something where they might legitimately have not felt/heard it, then you gotta give them the benefit of the doubt.

We need a 2 teir respawn, all the youngsters can run back to the respawn ( often up a bloody hill at our local site ) and the 'mature' respawn where you bimble back 50 paces, sit on a stump and have a cuppa , and maybe a nice biscuit, before heading back into the fray

I went once years ago and I don't think I've ever had a worse airsoft experience. Here's why Rediculous amounts of cheating done in front of marshalls who did nothing. For example one game had a single respawn fir both teams and a click divided into coloured sections. If the minute hand was in your teams colour you can go back into the game. One player (with a Marshall watching) moved the hand to put it in his teams colour and the Marshall did nothing. Marshalls more interested in the supposed status of being staff than doing the job. Rules made to give their regulars a massive advantage Rules changed I'd game whenever the regulars started to get beaten Stupidly long wait between games. Anything up to half an hour Lastly the owner is a cunt who'll be your best mate to your face but start slagging you off behind your back. He's also a thieving shit who'll take money for guns he doesn't have, just search any social media for special airsoft supplies to read up on the bullshit this guy has pulled

If you want to go somewhere to mess around and not take it too seriously, then it's okay. There's lots of running/walking about since it's an open space. There are lots of problems with the site and it's history. They don't chrono any guns, they say they do random chrono checks, but I've never seen them do any. A kid also lost his eye there a few years ago because of their non-existent safety rules at the time, and their rules aren't much better now. After taking a day to cool down I can safely say Sunday was the worst airsofting experience I have ever had in over 20yrs of playing . arrived on site as per usual start getting ready to rock , get out nice and early have the usual warm up game goes well . Second game of the day playing far end of the site so I drop down the bottom and start flanking the blues to be told “no can’t go there that fields out of bounds” I think fair enough trying to keep it tight so more intense ? No reason was the NEXT field over from that one had a group of under 10’s having a paintball party ! Next game we turn that game around to THEN be told one of the top fields that has a crashed wooden blackhawk in it was now out of bounds instead for the same reason ! next game the first field is out of bounds again because there were adults paintballing in that field and a party of about 20 chavs that had booked a 2hr session of airsofting where dropped right in the middle of us lot so the whole thing totally went to ratshit because they where running around shooting everyone immaterial of which team they where on , not taking there hits and generally having a wonderful time ! Spoke to a marshal and his reply ? “There only here for 2hrs so boss said let them do what ever they want “ ! next game yet another field was closed due to kids having a paintball party , oh and at one point one of the only two marshals watching all these kids brings them in to the safezone where all us airsofters where (which totally contradicts child safeguarding) to clean there masks and while all these crotch goblins are milling around I even catch one trying to pick up my full stock full metal ways a ton AK74 ! Next game no problems sites ours again great . After this it’s lunch time , during lunch we notice a LOT of adults and children turning up and we find out we’re going to loose about 35% of the site to other activities so a group of the regulars are sat out side discussing what’s happening we all decide united front and speak to management was told someone would be over , no one turned up . Found the owners wife she said she was so busy but she ‘would try’ to speak to us , AND of course she didn’t ! Saw Her husband (other owner)tried speaking to him but he ignored me , told A senior marshal we wanted to speak to him urgently , I saw him tell him but all the owner did was shrug his shoulders and walk off in the opasite direction ! We all went inside to find him and we did , he was flitting around ‘doing stuff’ and blatantly ignoring us ! He finally went in to the office bit and starts going through the wavers from the morning we ask him “are you going to speak to us ?” He carries on going through the papers . Someone said “are you going to speak to us or just ignore us ?” and that’s just what he did he ignored us ! Someone then says “so your just going to ignore paying customers are you ?” At this point he just turns around and walked off without even acknowledging us ! He actually walked off ignoring us ! Un fucking believable . so by now all to a man we where absolutely bouncing so we decided again united front all leave and tell them why as we are leaving . We all pack up and as we’re leaving we spot the wife again so put our grievances to her telling her politely how disgusting it is there running other events on the same day the bi-monthly airsoft gameday is run and closing off sections of the site for these other activities but still charging us full price , she gives a half arsed apology I said “so what your saying is making money is more important than customer satisfaction ?” Her reply ? “Yes the money is more important because we lost so much last year and if we don’t make enough money now we’d have to close the site !” Oh and when asked about her husband ignoring paying customers politely asking him to answer our grievances her reply ? “Oh he doesn’t like being questioned on his business decisions and he will go quiet and not answer you !” As we are walking to our cars we spot him in one of the biggest fields leading a group of teens on quad bikes around it ! and cherry on top of this whole fiasco I later found out last game day they where running the air rifle range AND clay pigeon shooting at the same time as airsofting on site ! So all I can really say on it now is I and at least 10 other players will never be going back to BLACK OPS CRIBBS BRISTOL . And it’s been my ‘home site’ (I call it my home site even though I live in Swansea and drive 1.5hrs to get there) for over 7yrs as a result of the horrendous customer service given to us .
