Had an absolute top day at Longmoor on Sunday with the boys. It was great to get back to such a fun site, and we managed to get in some sneaky woodland ambushes and building to building fighting. We did feel by mid afternoon that the opposing team were starting to throw the towel in a bit, which was odd because we were fairly outnumbered and I had assumed we would be the ones to get steam rolled ? It was the first time two of the guys on my team were having to use mid caps but I think it’s fair to say they enjoyed it!

Yeah it does have 3rd burst on the ICS SSS.

Worth setting full auto to 2/3rd burst then so you still have the snappiness without it being able to be used wrongly.

Pretty much just the nub if you want to use .3's! Barrel is a nice to have, I mainly got a longer one to increase fps (USA limits). Can't reccomend the SixG brass nub enough. I tested the Laylax strike arm, as well as some concave nubs but the SixG paired with the stock hopup rubber is amazing. I'd have some spare nozzle return springs on hand, or just install an upgraded one to save you the headache ahead of time. Thats really all you need.

had fun running the MP5 at UCAP Vendetta yesterday but it really needs a torch for those dark CQB moments. On the plus side the Magpul SL rail turned up today and my battery fits inside so it looks like I can now run a torch.

Longmoor today with Legion Airsoft. Ran with the Mk18 recoil and Arktis chest rig again, the fleece came off when it warmed up and I was busy trying to work both squad and team level comms ? Spot on day though, and I’ll try and get a review together.

Box of VN mid caps to go with the new XM , ordered on the 18th of last mth from airsoftAsia arrived today so basically 2wks and cost me £44.71 in total , only place I’ve found them in stock in the uk is ‘airsoft supply drop’ and they want £65 all in for them . Sorry I try to support UK business but I’m NOT spending 40% more to do so .
