  1. Would appear being off sick from work really does set off the ‘idle hands’ syndrome , been playing around with the 177 AGAIN ! ?‍♂️

  3. It may be true that high grade polymer bodies can be superior to the lowest quality 'metal' ones but I still prefer the weight and feel of cold steel pot metal ?

  4. Don't think metal body=better. The better plastic guns can still handle rough treatment of a game and cheap pot metal easily breaks. Also the weight difference can really make a difference towards the end of the day

  5. Er, how? I can't see that they have any UK presence, or any address that you could use for service. And thanks for the warning, but their site is quite obviously written in third best Chinglish, lacks any contact or (actual) company information, and they're quite open that they're shipping from China. You took a gamble and lost, it happens. Just instruct your payment processor to do a chargeback because it's non-functional, and get on with your life.

  6. I do think the new BTP camo works better now we're in the autumn, even the desert version would do a better job blending in with the golden leaves that are all over the ground and the low trees. Dark stuff was less effective and sticking out a bit more than usual yesterday... In the morning I was wearing a black camo UBACS style undershirt, and I wished I'd bought the multi-cam version instead. I definitely don't need stuff slowing me down. That would = stopped A massive shout-out to this chap, who did the WW2 load out properly... He even lit up a pipe during the rest/reload breaks for the full effect Tally-ho!

  7. Figured I'd share a few shots of my latest pickup, really happy with how it looks/feels. Now all I need is to get the folding stock and hook, then I'm sorted!

  10. It's disclosed during checkout. Agreed, it's deliberately deceptive, especially the shipping estimates. However, because they've given them, I'd have (literally) no hesitation in firing in with a PayPal dispute 10 microseconds after their estimate had expired, or if I didn't receive exactly what I'd ordered. Although at this point I'm just going straight to AliExpress because they have their own dispute / chargeback system that seems weighted towards buyers (at the moment).

  12. Nice. I usually use my various selection of drop down pouches for pyro but the size and lack of organisers does annoy me a bit. Might have to take a look!

  13. It's not divided but does have velcro on the inside so you could add organisers. You can definitely fit a lot of shit in there, I've put a hi-capa in there before when I forgot my belt. I've also ran 3 m4 mags in a sleeve, wasn't the quickest reload ever but it let me run 9 mags in a small set up. that does look better IMO. Can you fit a four pack of beer in yours though? ?

  14. They do take PayPal. I've bought a few things from them and they've been absolutely fine. Their website does have a co.uk domain but it's not hard to work out that they're based in China!

  17. I'd say recommended. Over half the people there didn't have torches. It is really handy but like not essential.

  18. The TM looks great ? Once you have the stock it will be complete ? I got a CYMA M870 folding stock and grafted it onto an ASG SPAS It worked out quite well and luckily I'm not worried about accuracy to the real one ?

  20. Yep, it was a wee green missile that used to shoot out of the 203. His sidearm was an M9. My kids sometimes play with my old Action Man stuff so I've found all these things all over again. There's also a tacticool MP5 with what looks like some sort of sight and a light below the barrel... see it all in a different light now. As much as I love sci fi, I also love the old school guns sans rail systems and all that fancy jazz that festoons "modern" builds. Nothing quite like a simple M16A2 or early M4 with the standard nonrailed handguard, or a classic AK. MP5A4 or Scorpion for that lean look. Pistol wise for me it's classic 1911 (non-MEU etc) or Deagle all the way. Will get lynched for this but I'm not a fan of Glocks, Hi Capas and the like...

  21. Other than their old armalites (plastic body cause barrel wobble) TM are a safe bet in terms of they will work out the box with out modification and their lemon rate is significantly lower than Chinese/Tiawanise made guns. They are however exspensive compared to other brands but that's down to country of origin and QC. There are now many manufacturers that do more for less but if you search these forums you'll see posts about essential mods/repairs needed for most brands. My team currently runs stock G&G ARP9s great guns but out of 5 bought 3 are broken in less than a year, with out heavy use also one drum mag failure out the box for the team mate with the still functioning gun. I had a TM scar which I had for 2 years before I got bored never missed a beat before I sold it( I have now been shot several times by the mate I sold it to). Most Airsoft manufacturers especially lower/ mid tier offer more for your money but (personal opinion) none of them match TM reliability. So if you want gun that you are prepared to do work if/when it needs it go for pretty much and manufacture. If you want a gun that you are 97% sure it will work every time get a TM.

  24. "Do I need a proper ghillie to be a sneaky sniper? Do I need to shell out for a full leaf suit and spend hours, days, weeks, months, years crafting it to perfection?" No. No you do not. One of the marshalls finally found me and snapped a pic of me being one with the bush. This is my lightweight, summer loadout that I've been using because my current ghillie isn't great in woodland as it's really a grassland ghillie and gets caught on literally everything (Worthing Airsoft has basically no grass). Rifle wrap is Sprinter Custom Ghillie and the hood is a Stich Profi Russian leaf hood. Haven't crafted anything onto either of them (the SCG stuff doesn't need crafting anyway...), just picked a good spot that didn't silhouette me and kept still

  25. Bargain-bin S95 DPM + cheap hat and gloves off Wish + used/boneyard Viper skeleton harness. ESS goggles, Tigris mesh mask. Kombat UK universal holster. A couple of SA80 pouches, and a cheapo fast mag holder for when I'm in a hurry (Got 4 of those on the way from that there China) Works alright! Just wish the DPM could hide my belly a bit better
