Good field craft and crap camo trumps poor field craft and the best camo every day of the week.

MTP is great this time of the year though, site depending. And it's... reasonable on some sites year round, especially if the foliage is lighter coloured. Webbing rigs and camo aren't made to look cool, it's made to be efficient in combat, and it looks cool because of what soldiers do with it. I am a believer in 'form follows function' i.e. make a practical, well made, efficient kit and it will look good.

Lets just say that I didn't run over to the bush to find out... ?

Was getting pestered to get my booster jab, one day before gameday. Glad I told them to F'off.. As had it yesterday and today I can't lift my left arm very well...and have a mad headache. (Will be fine tomorrow) AIRSOFT comes first..then booster.

The thing is whether or not something looks good is personal. To use your example of cars, some might think this looks good but personally I think it looks like a polished turd Pick your kit based on what YOU like, not what others think is "cool". If others don't like your kit then that's their problem Yes we are. My point is that, when it comes to loadouts, the only person who's opinion matters is the person wearing it. Chasing likes on social media is going to leave you with an impractical loadout which will affect your enjoyment of the game

There's no way MTP is ever better than DPM, literally dozens of unqualified airsofters who spend their entire lives at one site and irrationally hate anything popular because it's cool to be different have told me so. If you want uniforms just get surplus issue stuff, commercial offerings (BTP, MTC etc etc) barely get within sniffing distance in terms of the quality for the price point. Windproof and waterproof are 2 entirely different proposals, most issue uniform is fairly windproof the smock in particular but it's still extremely breathable. Anything that's actually close to waterproof cooks you alive soon as you do much exertion and do NOT fall for the bullshit descriptions at airsoft retailers that describe any softshell jacket as waterproof; utter shite. Wear a t-shirt and a standard PCS smock, put a fleece or whatever under it if you're not moving much in the cold and have a goretex jacket somewhere to hand if you expect it to really hammer down - that'll cover 95% of UK weather.

It's OK, I hear they're biting the bullet and finally upgrading the Commodore 64 to an Amiga.

This happens every so often. Comes back sooner or later. Most people nowadays only use it for classifieds.

This or this plus this insert. Or jam a pack of MP2s in to one of the original HSP chest rigs. The rest of the questions I don't really grasp tbh, is the OP missing an image above the hyphenated list? Personally I've used the SS micro with the Spiritus elastic inserts quite a bit and reinserting mags is fine, takes 2% more effort vs MP2s or KYWIs you just have to angle the mags a bit at first and rock them back in.

Spiritus et al never designed their micro rigs with re-indexing mags in mind. In fact if you look at the FAQ page on the Spiritus website they make that very point. The Haley M2 inserts rely on having something for the little wings on the top to tuck under to stop them pulling out when you grab a mag so you're a bit limited on what you can use to retain them in micro rigs that just use the elastic adaptors for mag organisation. Kydex inserts with velcro on the outside work pretty well in micro rigs, and people have already copied the various kydex adaptors and make them for cheap. I'd suggest also looking into a small molle chest rig that you can then use regular "highspeed" pouches on if you're determined to re-index mags. Something like the Tactical Tailor Mini Mav for example. Or get a dump pouch.

once that pin is completle out the front should just pull forward. It might be a bit stuck by the paint , worth warming the join a bit if you've got a hot air gun.

Yeah I realised DPM is probably designed for the Fulda Gap as much as anywhere However, I stick with my assertion that MTP is a better camo for my site at this time of year, and although I might be chucking £30-50 on stuff I don't really need, when has that ever stopped us, eh? But I suppose the darker camo is going to get broken up a bit by my new multicam battle belt and harness. I'll get someone to take a pic of me at the site this weekend, see what it looks like at a distance. Also, I really ought to check to see if the site will stay open through this winter!

Yes with battery extension it's pretty easy to fit 1450 or 1600 in. My 1600 lasted all day yesterday, something close to 3500 shots !

I do like the idea of flash mags only down side I find is if your behind cover and priming your mag from a distance it does look if your ‘lobbing off’ an invisible friend ! ?

My airsoft day has been shit. UPS delivered me a couple of bags of BBs, a new foregrip, and a Titan battery. But didn't bother themselves ringing our loud doorbell, just left it out front instead. So some thieving git nicked it all. Arse. Edit:. Blimey. AirsoftAnonymous sent me an email at 9pm (which I've only just read) to let me know UPS made a bollox of their status updates, so it's not actually been delivered and then nicked after all! Huzzah! So it's now a good day ?
