If you shoot in your own back garden, and BBs leave your private property, you're already breaking the law. Imagine the fun Plod will have with you if you're shooting a gun completely out on public land, two-tone or not. Find someone who has a big garden and get permission to shoot entirely within their property. Or find your local site and ask them nicely to try out your gun on their range. If they think you'll become a player with them, I'm sure they'd be happy to let you. Please3 points -

as above, please don't use an airsoft pew, 2-toned or not, in public, no matter how secluded a spot you think you're in. that's not the sort of publicity our hobby needs. take it to a proper airsoft site, it's much more enjoyable when the target is allowed to shoot back.3 points -

Kids today don't know how well off they are. I was orphaned at a young age and raised by a pack of hyenas. No toys, no posh house, facing starvation scouring for food, but boy, did we have some laughs.3 points -
By which I mean, 75 m/s / 250 fps. Sure, that's hucking a massive steel cylinder slug (63% more bullet per bullet), but it's under 350fps so that's site legal, Reddit said so. Ian McCollum / Gun Jesus has been having a play. Bit of a chat about them: And at the (point-blank) range. A lot of the fun is playing the game of "Well, if I made one, and I could, I'd make it better in this, that and the other ways...". Since they're smoothbores, not spinning the slugs, and there seems to be a hard 75m/s limit on the velocity, using steel BBs than tumbling cylinders seems like an obvious tweak. One interesting point from the chat is that the "barrel" is just there to stop the slugs from smashing into the coils, so arguably you could fling 100J of undersized "unbarreled" steel while saying "not a firearm". ?2 points

Yup I really like magazines… TM based RPK plus age appropriate sidearm. The garnish is because I wore it with full Russian kit including Leshy. Players initially thought they were engaging a sniper… and then regretted trying to get closer. Happy days at Elite Worthing. Very fine AEG to use, maximum fun. Could put mesh over the lens of course. ?2 points -

Couple of yrs ago at the NAE ‘car boot’ a couple of young very suntanned guys with issue haircuts flogging a shitload of Blackhawk! Gear still in the packaging , put a nice bundle together must have been clocking 300?’s worth retail , asked how much he said 200 so I came back with “200 ? that’s a bit steep does Lizzie know you’ve been raiding her store cupboard ?” . “Tell ya what call it a ton and I won’t have a clue where or when I bought it all , work for you ?” AND he just grinned and said “sounds like a deal to me !”? like I said 90% of squaddies will have the fillings out of your teeth if they think they could flog em ! ???2 points

LOL, ain't we all, we're quick to put the boot in but I wonder how many would have bought kit if the price was right ? Obviously that's a rhetorical question & we're all gonna take the moral high ground in disgust ?2 points

Hello all! Hope you're all keeping well Surprised to see TG are still having issues with delivering to the UK! I had a new Specna E19 Daniel defense sent to me from Gunfire a few weeks ago, and it only took 4 days door to door (on an expired UKARA no less! ?) Much better than this time last year!2 points

Two-tone is irrelevant to the offence. It's Firearms Act 1968, Section 19: "A person commits an offence if, without lawful authority or reasonable excuse (the proof whereof lies on him) he has with him in a public place [...] an imitation firearm." Note: not realistic imitation. Here's an example of a conviction for simple possession of a bright orange springer pistol which even the arresting officer conceded was a "toy". Per the Sheriff's comments, the bar for what constitutes a reasonable excuse is set low in principle. In practice, it's a complete lottery and you may find yourself in front of anti-gun (or poorly advised) judiciary who aren't minded to think that your excuse - of "want to" - is reasonable. You may get away with "boys will be boys", or you may be looking at 6 months / £400 and a criminal record with a big red "FIREARMS" trigger-word in it. Also bear in mind that the interpretation of "in a public place" is very broad: “"public place” includes any highway, road within the meaning of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 and any other premises or place to which at the material time the public have or are permitted to have access, whether on payment or otherwise". The chap above was on the steps of the bank, technically on their private property, but considered public due to the general right of access. I've seen arguments made that the direct route from a property boundary or gate to domestic front doors is also public for this purpose, absent signage withdrawing the implied right of access. tl;dr - don't. Entirely on secure and ideally secluded unambiguously private land only, with the land-owner's permission. If you're travelling somewhere to shoot (on private land) then be prepared to show evidence of that.2 points -

Gate don't recommend brushless motors with their mosfets/FCU's. Some reports of damage being caused to either or both components (possibly caused by active braking, but unclear). The brushless motors don't have a mosfet exactly but they do have an electronic control unit to make the motor work. I'm suggesting that, given that position and that the Marui is impossible to get spares for right now, is it worth risking buggering it up? The stock motor's an EG1000, so you should be able to pull anything you need to for UK limits without any problem. Might be fine of course. But, given the cost of the gun and the motor...1 point

I did a club-buy for some 10 RC Aircraft kits from Belgium just after Xmas - nearly shit myself when I had a UPS shipping notice - the vendor promised to use another company. I nearly cancelled the entire order based on the shit with TaiwanGun. Had an email from UPS to pay my VAT/Admin charge online. My order arrived exactly four days after shipping from the Vendor with no issues whatsoever. And the box was huge too, bigger than a RIF being shipped although not as heavy. I just don't get what their problem is, other than the fact that most orders contain RIFs? If Gunfire can do it, why can't TG? Answers on a postcard....1 point -
Apparently it achieves this physics breaking, sniper beating range with duster gas too. Fuck me TM is incredible! Extra value is achieved by the banged up oxidized mag on the far left.1 point

Specna arms SA E-12 Edge carbine
Picklerick90 reacted to Speedbird_666 for a topic
I have that exact model. It's shit. It was for my son, but he's nicked my Lonex gun instead as the Orion GB shit itself several times. It now has a complete E&C GB in there, but the bugger still won't use it so it's consigned to be a 'spare of a spare' in the kitbag - i.e. the last gun to get pulled out if all the others I've got fail or used as a loner. Shame really because shoots alright now (I mean, there's no Specna Internals left in it), but it's still pretty boring to look at compared to the new offerings from other manufacturers (such as Double Eagle et al).1 point -
