    The middle pic is in one of the heavily fought areas that’s been cleared to construct a series of small bunkers and fox holes. a large part of the site is more like the top pic. But uk winter is generally just brown. Brown mud, brown ferns, brown leaves. And Brown pants for the poor bloke in the bunker in the middle pic as I was running in to post a bfg through the window lol

    Looks like my much loved ics cxp ape is in need of some time with the tech. Full auto not engaging properly and sticking in semi. Lots of copper flecks on the outside of the motor and inside of the grip. :(

      The stock motor is pretty anaemic to be honest.

      If I do much it would only be the repairs and maybe a better motor. I can’t really fault mine other than that.

      Mixed feelings. Will write a site review up later for it. For a once or twice a year site great. But for a regular cqb fix I would use battlestations at snetterton.

    6 weeks with no airsoft. Tomorrow that’s all over. Heading down to blow off some steam and clear the cobwebs at Combat Action Games

    That feeling when your body starts to remind you that it’s getting old and had years of abuse. Might be time to start thinking about role change as my left knee is shot to hell.

    Finally had a decent pic taken of me in my tears of the sun impression. Still don’t have the correct rifs for it and I can’t get my asg mk23 working properly for love nor money. And with 2 teenage girls now living with me (2 daughters moved up from London)! I don’t see that changing anytime soon lol. But it looks alright.

    So today I got a new sight for my ics cxp ape. The first pic is with the old sight that I didn’t really like. The second is with the spike short dot I got to try and give it a better ‘style’ it’s also a clearer sight picture with the option of magnification etc as a bonus. Apologies for the crappy duvet/bed pics. Weathers not fantastic here at the moment. So no option for more arty farty ones

    Waiting on some more Geoff’s bb’s and a one Tigris multicam folding mesh mask to turn up. But today I got a warrior drop down utility pouch to compliment my pathfinder/cpc rig, sight protector and a spike short dot sight that I hope will give my ics cxp ape a better look (hate the sight that’s on it). Before and after pics will go in the gun picture thread.

      Had a parcel being delivered by them a few wks ago as I was away over night I logged in and stipulated ‘leave with neighbor’ (I have wonderful retired neighbors , there both deaf as a post and blind as a bat so perfect Airsoft neighbors !) any hoo get a txt saying “left in designated safe place , the porch” only problem there I don’t have a porch , I do have an angled section of roofing that sticks out about 3ft above the front door but no walls to it so definitely NOT a porch , so in the picture he so kindly sent me you can see said parcel leaning up against my front door in plain view for all to see! ??‍♂️?

      Last delivery by Hermes, person turned up in a knackered old fiesta..didn't bother with ringing the bell..found my package thrown over side door to the garden by my garage.  All recorded on cctv.  Complaint sent..not heard a thing back.  (3 months and waiting...guess an apology got lost in the mail..)  :)

      I didn’t bother trying to complain to herpes I just put a poor review on millets website when it asked me to review my buying experience AND was contacted by there customer care team very next morning ! After back and fouring with some Doris on there team I got a £10 voucher as an apology for poor customer service .?

    Bit of a mixed bag really. Until recently I played American football. Also in my spare time I like to paint/play miniature wargames, Xbox/pc games and try to get out running or visiting the gym when possible. My other big thing when I can is getting to a concert. Though that’s mostly dependent on the band.

      Yes, I think that would be acceptable.  Create a new topic in the "Off Topic" section, give details of the event and who the charity is for, etc.  Adding a link to the rbli website would be useful for background context.

    Good news this morning. 

    Filed a PayPal case against Ruoskygear on aliexpress for failing to send the fma helmet and got an email today to say a full PayPal refund is being issued! Offsets the £40 I paid for one off patrolbase in the end

    Gotta love amazon Sunday deliveries. One Tigris ops core style helmet cover turned up today and was fitted to the fma exfil. Just have to pick up my atacs ix stuff from the post office tomorrow as I was in Nottingham at Warhammer world when they tried to deliver. Typical. Then wait for my throat mic/ptt/earpiece combo to arrive from radioworld and all will be good.

    The bfg is mostly for bunker clearing as the local site has a lot of small bunkers and fox holes. Anything else will still be paper pyro as you can lob that more safely that a pound of metal

    Had these turn up so far today and the postie hasn’t even been yet. 511 tdu duty belt for keeping those trousers up. In keeping with a lighter feel to my kit. Flyye water bottle pouch as opposed to running about with a camelback and courtesy of patrol base. Fma exfil (team Wendy clone) helmet. Worked out just as cheap as the Ali express one and a whole lot less hassle. Now I’m just waiting for my Leo kholer atacs ix trousers and ubacs and my 1t opscore style multicam helmet cover.

    Don’t use ruoskygear store on aliexpress. Ordered a fma exfil lite foliage green helmet last Monday. 4 days ago (2 before the cancellation deadline) they asked if I would accept dark earth instead which was ok. Yesterday morning it was marked as despatched. A few hours before automatic cancellation. Today they message to say they don’t have DE would black be ok. Well clearly it hasn’t been despatched and they are lying.

      Can’t cancel the order as they have declared it as shipped. Also can’t open a disputed until 10 days after it’s marked as shipped.

      Gutted for you mate. That's the one time that AliExpress is an issue, when it goes wrong!

      Just FYI, the FMA Unity Tactical style helmet adaptors won't work on an Exfil helmet. I had to blag the adaptor from Unity Tactical themselves which cost an arm and a leg for two little bits of metal!

      They the adapters for things like sordins and contacts headsets? If so I’m ok as I run a throat mic with security style ear piece.
