TM Recoil? Might be around the £500 mark ish!

If you’re still interested and/or local, I’ve just seen that ‘Spartan Survival’ are running some kind of course at Humber Airsoft on the 27th of November for £50.

Had an absolutely spot on day with the lads down at Combat Airsoft in Thetford. Rain held out until we were nearly finished, no gun issues apart for one of the guys getting a dead battery, and got to use a fair whack of the site. One isolated incident where someone popped into the bunker with three of us and shouted ‘surrender’ and then moaned when I shot him but other than that no gameplay issues to speak of. Can’t recommend the site enough if you’re within distance, not had a bad day there ever!

Finally got to run my new loadout today! Mk18 performed phenomenally, was picking off people that before I wouldn’t even have bothered at and didn’t use nearly half as much ammo as I thought I would!

Well, packed up a nice lightweight loadout with the intention of getting a game in today after a night of getting some sleep at work…. To then spend the whole night running around the M25 because everyone and their mothers/daughters/fish were breaking down ? Whats the saying? Best laid plans … ?

I’ve gone full circle, simple kit —> all the kit —> simple kit! No messing about, just a rifle, magazines and some bangs! Cheap(ish) and cheerful!

This is my planned loadout for Sunday. Nice and simple, Arktis chest rig with my magazines, Safariland for the Glock. Will be the first run out of my NGRS Mk18 too! Only things I might add are some belt mounted pistol pouches and an LBX sling if it arrives in time.

Make sure if you cut the inner barrel you either buy a new correct length one, or crown the cut down one with the correct tool; otherwise your BB’s will he be randomly deflected about by the end. I did it on a rifle and took me ages to work out what was wrong ?

You mean expensive guns don’t make me good at Airsoft ☹️

After seeing some pretty cool MWS’s at the weekend, I think I’ll probably be making the leap into one soon. It seems like one would be perfect for Milsims and the ones I saw seemed to operate well even in the early morning when it was around 10 degrees. Any advice before taking the plunge? I’ve had a good read of this thread, although I’ll admit not all 216 pages of it ?

Had an alright day skirmishing yesterday. Kind of wish that I’d known Tuddenham wasn’t all close quarters as my short G3 was next to useless at the initial woodland ranges. Unfortunately experienced a fair bit of poor hit taking from the opposition at one point, swiftly sorted by the head marshal which was good. Not sure it’s a site I’ll venture back to but definitely won’t be the last Gunman event I attend.

Picked up a TLD20 today, can’t wait to be able to give it a go. With this in mind, where have people been getting the blue charges from?

Building a lightweight belt loadout out of what’s in my gear cupboard in anticipation of being able to get out and snipe some people.. Pretty much all Blackhawk pouches, I discovered the Well magazines fit perfectly in a double 40mm pouch. If it doesn’t work I’ll probably just throw all the bits I need into a claymore bag and roll with that instead!
