I do understand the faults listed aren’t too big a problem but equally the description of its performance are a tad evasive “I think” , “I believe” Etc I’m commenting more on the fact it obviously well used (as in dog ruff) and he’s asking well over the price it was new , simply because it’s ‘rare’ . I know you can ask what ever you want but just seems a bit off too me ?

Soooooo first post and is trying to flog an old gun that yes is admittedly out of stock everywhere BUT has a good few faults to it and is asking more for it now than it was for retail when it was in stock ? ?

Can only speak form personal experience , but I found G&P metal are the best then these MAG ones next no problems with these either , have got a couple of Battleaxe ones but I’ve had to do some work on all of them to function properly plus there listed as 110rds but I find anything more than 85-90 BBs and they miss feed terribly for me .

Box of VN mid caps to go with the new XM , ordered on the 18th of last mth from airsoftAsia arrived today so basically 2wks and cost me £44.71 in total , only place I’ve found them in stock in the uk is ‘airsoft supply drop’ and they want £65 all in for them . Sorry I try to support UK business but I’m NOT spending 40% more to do so .

Oh so spot on , if your playing a mil-sim or even film-sim game where everyone’s running low/real capacity magazines and actively managing there ammo then yes I could see pretty much any kind of professional training really helping your game , but not on a ‘normal’ walk on gameday . As trigger said when you’ve got adrenaline pumped players running around with a rental AK and a 600rd hi-cap hosing the crap out of anything AND everything they can see then tactics become bit of a moot point ? But yea I’m not saying don’t attended a training day by any stretch , all I’m saying is be prepared to need a very big pinch of salt to go with what your being told , and just enjoy it for what it is .

I’ve always been a believer in that if someone is offering any kind of military based training course that the public can attend and it doesn’t cost hundred pounds(training with someone who has time served experience isn’t cheap no matter what field it’s in)then there’s a VERY good chance the person running it is either a walt or bloater . I’ve family and friends who’ve spent yrs working for big international security companies that are also involved in training others and I’m pretty sure none of the ‘bonafide’ companies would have anything to do with training Joe public AND they charged thousands for their courses . What it comes down too is the guys who could train you do this properly from their own personal experience are already getting payed mega bucks to do it for a big company somewhere , they don’t need to run Mickey Mouse courses that anyone can attend for a couple of quid . As lots have said just YouTube the crap out of it and I’m sure you’ll substantially up your game just by doing that . ?

Had noticed this my self as well , AND you’ve got Patrolbase in bed with TG so me thinks due to zero kit coming in to the country and from that zero getting to the market place and both TG and GF no longer exporting to the UK they saw it as a way to circumvent the clusterfuck that is import duties at the present time ?

I freely admit I’m absolutely enamoured of my 904 especially as I bought it on a whim ! and first gameday it had i basically used it the entire day I was that impressed with it , mine was also a tad ‘fruity’ out of the box but after lopping a couple of coils off and re-shaping the cut end of the spring it’s doing a very satisfactory 342-45fps . Have to say I’m on the fence about the look of this one but if they carry on using the ‘Falcon’ system in their new guns I definitely would be happy to buy some more of them .

Unfortunately can also concur not the best customer service from them either , the one problem I had they went straight to “oh you must have done something wrong” . Then tried the ‘return for inspection’ crap as well only conceded when I told them (AND sent a picture) of the broken item still in the box still in its sealed bag ! To be fair once they received it back to them (by recorded delivery wasn’t taking any chances ?) they did sort it fast but the whole thing was still an unnecessary up hill struggle to sort .

Yes it is on there web site you have to use their bio’s . I’m not actually bothered by this as once my stock of ‘normal’ ammo finally runs out I’m planning to change to bio and their pricing isn’t that expensive but when he said no you can’t use any other brand even from a sealed container I did think NOW your starting to take the piss . Exactly this .

Did tell them that very thing , and I also asked about other brands of ammo in sealed bottles to be told by some old codger I hadn’t seen till lunchtime that they used these ones as (not saying I would) “players could easily swap white non bio for white bio” ? But yet the .3 and above ammo which was near twice the price WAS white’ish !? Edit ; the ammo is green devil bio I googled it and it isn’t on retail in the UK just whole sale , but it is retailed in other countries . They charge £13.50 for 5000 .25’s on site , found it for sale in Holland and it was 12.40€ a bag so not too much of a mark up I suppose.

Went to Spartan airsoft woodland last Sunday (started my hunt for a new site after getting banned from my home site !?) arrived safe and sound paid green fees , had a chat with a marshal (very nice chap) had a positively orgasmic ? and ? ? and discovered tea and coffee was free , Result ! Game brief took a fair old while and was a slow start to the day , didn’t get first game started till 10.40 ! I will let this slide as it was their first game back after the most recent lockdown so gonna have a few ‘hiccups’ . Now the downside to my day , they insist on bio ammo that’s bought from them so they can control it’s origin (don’t have a problem with that) BUT the problem is all ammo of .28 and below is a sort of dark coffee colour and the site is heavy pine forest so it’s quite dark and gloomy , now if this was a well lit site wouldn’t be a problem but it isn’t so you just can’t see your shots in flight at all so even with a perfectly dialled in scope due to the vagaries of shooting small spherical objects out of a smooth bore barrel and the effect the ambient weather can have on them you just can’t confirm if your shots are on target or not . By the end of just the first game I found I was starting to getting well frustrated by this . Even after I spent a good 10mins on their range and confirmed to my self my rounds where spot on when using my scope I still found it hard to just accept I wasn’t hitting any of the other team when I thought I must have hit them(now I’m no Mega Airsoft dealer of death by any stretch of the imagination but I do find it hard to believe I only had 1 kill all day ?) when at all the other sites I’ve been too I’m always well in to double figures by lunchtime , simply because with out the visible confirmation of my rounds in flight I didn’t know if I was even anywhere near my target player let alone hitting them . I seriously doubt I’ll be going back there any time soon for this reason which is a shame as the sites a nice one , everybody both staff and players where friendly and the standard of gameplay was excellent but I left the site feeling unfulfilled which I’m not prepared to travel all the way from Swansea to Bristol airport and not really enjoy a gameday , especially when it’s setting me back close to £130 for the day . Say’la’vie . keep on looking ! ?
