    TM mk18 MWS

Probably going to sell one of the MWS's as its now surplus to requirements As i got it lightly used, I'm trying to remember the internal build, but I will assume its stock apart from the bits i can see. - MWS Mk18 VGC, light scratches around the rear stock tube collar, 2 mags total - NPAS - RS AR15 Buffer spring - AG heavy weight buffer + original - AG (?) rear sling plate - MP22 wrench for when you need to do a hop rubber change - Spare nozzle spring set as the current one is on this side of usable but a wee bit sluggish
  2. I got my car keys stolen when i was 17 (luckily they didn't steal the car). My dad shouted at me, but basically taught me to ask "Would I leave my wallet there?" If the answer is no, then don't leave anything valuable there.
  3. On facebook, he said it was stolen out the back of his car. From the rear footwell. Without a case.
  4. The other week i slipped sideways on some wet leaves onto concrete. Instinctively I took the fall with my shoulder due to a) many many years of playing rugby, I knew my shoulder could take the fall b) i had my shiny new mk46, and i would rather break my shoulder than that
  5. QQ: Will these work with MP5 mags https://www.bullseyecountrysport.co.uk/fma-airsoft-molle-pistol-polymer-speed-fast-magazine-pouch-19406-p.asp
  6. Having said that, he's now done enough of them (mine included) to have a knack of doing it, so not so risky/time consuming any more. Basically, some unlucky so-and-so has paid for all the R&D on behalf of everyone else.
  7. Alternatively, you are going to a place where Airsoft is a lot more common - so sell your UK stuff before you go and buy it again there?
  8. I have a TM Foliage warrior and manage to get around 25 rounds easily out of a mag. I normally only load up around 12-14 rounds per pistol mag (make it a bit more realistic) and never had an issue with them.

    THE TM MWS thread

Is the "dynamic precision enhanced set" stock power?
  10. This one was a bit different - a buying weekend rather than a playing. Saw an MWS for sale, along with a couple of pistols and a ACR GBB., and a bunch of kit. Made an offer on buying the lot with the idea of flipping 90% of it and keeping the MWS. I knew most of the kit would be for the bring n buy at the end of the month, so no issues there. The pistols, I could sell on to the right people and make a tidy profit. I was planning on selling the ACR, but i made the mistake of test firing it.... now I'm doing the man maths to justify having it.
  11. They never had QC even back when they were STAR.
  12. Found 5 boxes of those thunder snaps in a bag as part of a trade deal i made 2 years ago. Yeah, not surprised they were banned...

      Oh right.

The ones I saw were blue.

      Are yours for sale? Regards

My incipient tinnitus thanks Trading Standards for their service. ?️

  13. Either way, the going rate for those is £40-45 each. I payed £300 for 5 once...but it also came with a free TM CQBR.
  14. I preferred Redcon 2, despite the long walk back to respawns. Also might look at the one near Watford, and one in Berkshire.
  15. Bit late to the party, but to defend 8 fields - I got some soft pistol mag taco's from them. Under £4 each. They grip my FNX mags tighter than anything. And have a full molle backing unlike the viper ones which are sewn shut on the middle part so you can't loop them properly.
  16. Sun's out - guns out. First game out for the year on Saturday at the soon to be closed for 2 years (HS2) at RIFT Comsite 3. Lots of people for this event, but unfortunately this hindered the game, as the site has got smaller the car park has got smaller, and the day basically was who can run to the choke-points fastest and who had the best hop up unit as it became 6 hours of out ranging each other. People setting up in buildings and playing pop up pirate all day. And with an LMG and the single shot rule, made it a long day. First time using the MK46, and the overpriced mag shit itself during chrono. Luckily it was a gear coming off the motor and once i popped it back on, was good to go. Short review of the gun - it gets out ranged by a few (new hop rubber on order), its lower on FPS than most as its JP standard, the mag is picky with ammo and misfeeds a wee bit and the fact its not auto winding is a mystery to me. And its heavy. I'm not a small bloke, in fact in the winter i dabble in powerlifting, and I was broken on the Sunday. But not one gun I've own has been more fun, got more compliments or had people ask to have a go. I love it, and wish there were more like it. If TM released an m240 version, I would be there with the deeds to my house as a down payment.
  17. I remember someone posted a picture of a GBB m1 garand two toned
  18. Yep, you're right - i just skim read it and saw V2 parts.
  19. I had a really bad day, today. I dropped my friend's baby in front of everyone. in my defense, I did say i was too short to be a pallbearer.
  20. On paper, these do look like a winner. Reviews are that Lambda externals are great, but that the internals are made of babybel's. So add a V2 gearbox, a semi normal hop and you should be laughing. Shame none come with the rail and heat shield as i really like that look. Not that I'd buy one off pre-order 1st batch.
  21. That's my one gripe about RIFT - other places do free tea/coffee and tap water, but it's all extra there. I normally bring snacks, then wait for them to occasionally do the hot food half price to get rid of it. The long briefs - meh - they're long but they are what they are
  22. I like the red/burgundy ones - that you just used to slap the colonists out of the way with
  23. Never mind
  24. And picture tax Rep mart is great - cheaper than most and like I said, a really nice shop with plenty of space to look. They even have custom carrier bags that fit the boxes in nicely. also if you’re in Osaka, SFBU had some great gear in, and lots of new goodies like the Carl Gustav launcher, and the new scar compact thing.
