  1. Genuinely wanted to but felt really, really guilty... https://youtu.be/ZtCitiQMnIA
  2. Sorry guys...check today's date...
  3. Scoop on Rainbow8's home page: TM to utilise the AA12 technology and use in their next series of shotguns, starting with the Spas 12. Can't wait!
  4. Huey's have some bits too...check out their sale section.
  5. They're the dog's danglies according to the airsoft mags, so this is surprising.
  6. That is an expensive combination! Some seriously cheap sniping options available atm...
  7. And that is without even mentioning the AEG KA SVD on Airsoft World for £200...
  8. If I had £350 to spend on a sniper rifle, and I was new, I'd do this: - Look on Crawley Surplus' or Action Hobbies website (other retailers are available). Identify the TM VSR compatible ASG/FN Sniper rifles on there for about £99-£150. If you like the look of them, buy one. Then you have a functional, 400+FPS rifle that can be upgraded later on if you like the game play style. - Use your remaining £200 or so to buy a G&G AEG (perhaps one that could have a scope/bipod added to give you a DMR-esque AEG) so you can swap and change during a game day if sniping becomes a little dry/dour. Well, that is what I'd do. Zero One have a nice looking GBB AIM SVD on their site for £210 which has more than tempted me.
  9. How about something like these - not too Tacticool, not expensive, should be up to the job - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Carhartt-Billings-Safety-Glasses-EG1ST/dp/B00JGF0QS6
  10. Ace Combat at Pembury is well worth a Sunday out. Good group of players, nice site with varying terrain, good food, fair staff and decent games. Only downside is a lack of space to park - for both you and your car.
  11. Legit guys with superb customer service which I've bought from: Crawley Surplus Combat South Action Hobbies
  12. If you want something that is going to work well every time you take it out of the box, in most weathers and should last if looked after, aim to budget £150 for a Tokyo Marui gas blowback pistol and gas/ammo (0.2g upwards). You can't go wrong, and it is just then a choice of which model to choose.
  13. Was looking for a new pressure switch for an old Star D-LAP laser, and found this on Redwolf - http://m.redwolfairsoft.com/item_detail/36304-G%26P+Cable+Switch+Modular+Grip+w%2FPressure+Switch+%28Sand%29 So ordered it. Plus a couple of other bits from their decent looking sale. Same price for said part from Fire Support - http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/gp-keymod-cable-switch-modular-grip-wpressure-switch-sand So...bargain! Even inc. the $11 airmail fee.
  14. There's a big difference in saying 'out performed' and me saying 'reliable'...
  15. Brilliant, only on a forum would you hear that TMs are overrated. I have no doubt that other brands are very good. But if you want something that is more expensive than an entry G&G but less expensive than a Real Sword, that should be reliable if left stock, then TM is that brand. Granted, not sure how good the EBBs are (fired a SCAR H last Sunday and was hugely impressed) in the long run, but I would always advise TMs. Horses for courses though.
  16. Yes expensive...but they're superb. They are well worth saving for.
  17. Essentials - (Camo or block 'military colours' if possible) Gloves, hat, scarf/scrim/shemagh/snood. - Decent eye protection. - Decent footwear. - Warm socks/t-shirt. After that, and if you've enjoyed it, aim to buy Tokyo Marui guns to start off with, as they are reliable and if left alone, should allow you to avoid the 'buy cheap, buy twice' adage. Then look at a vest/chest rig/webbing to slug stuff around in, a sling, a holster, some camouflage or tactical gear...a gun bag...ammunition...gas... ...once you've got the bug...
  18. Is the build quality of LCT AKs comparable to E&L AKs? Thanks.

  19. Hi, Am considering selling my Bushnell HOLOsight; it uses 2 x AA batteries and functions just like an EOtech HOLOsight - but without the NV capability - and lacks the outer shroud. This sight functions brilliantly, is undamaged and fits perfectly onto RIS uppers. I have used it on a Breacher, M16, Galil... Would like a good ball-park valuation please. Thanks.
  20. I got some good 0.28g bottles on eBay for about a fiver.
  21. Heinnie Haynes have Tan/Black Hazard 4 polos in their Clearance Section from £19. Land Warrior have just listed a ton of new Nuprol goodies in their New Items section.
  22. Where and when per chance please?!
  23. Action Hobbies have a great sale on atm. Bought some Begadi EDC trousers in OD for £22. They have Begadi micro-fibre trousers for £11 and the matching jacket for about (possibly cheaper than) £27 IIRC. I have bought twice from these guys now and have found them to be superb.
  24. My old man is giving up on airsoft due to lack of time. He has a variety of airsoft guns he wants to sell, and I'll be doing this for him. I will get pictures, so I am sorry for the lack of them in the post. I have tried to be as detailed as possible to help with valuations. Due to having a newborn in the house, I just have not had time to take and post pictures, but I have pics of the pistols and FAL if required. AEGs: CYMA Thompson - good condition, works well and has 2 magazines. Has the wooden furniture fitted but also has the faux wood plastic furniture. CYMA 'Chicago Typewriter' style Thompson - fluted barrel, fore grip and 1 drum mag. In very good condition. Shoots well, but a little hot at 360fps. Barely used. King Arms FN FAL (long) - missing the fire selector lever, paint worn in places and fires better with a quality bb brand like Excels. Seemed to double fire on full auto with cheap brands before Steve from a well known Portsmouth based shop/site had a tinker. 3 locals and 2 hi caps. RIS upper and non-RIS upper included. ACM MP40 - fires well, good condition, 3 magazines. ACM Sten gun - fires well, battery wires threaded out of the gun to allow use of a bigger battery in a stock mounted pouch. Good condition. 3 magazines. CA M249 - bit of a mission this one...set up with a para short barrel and sliding stock, but has the long barrel and solid stock too in the package. Spare gear box. Spare pistol grip. Fires really well when box mag is working. Modified to have battery in the box mag and for mag to wind when gun firing. Catch to hold magazines in has broken and been fixed. Basically could do with a brand new box mag. GBBs: Tanaka S&W M500 - fires well, missing the front sight, good condition. Tanaka Luger P.O8- black, long barrel, snail magazine plus 1 normal magazine. In basically un-skirmished, kept in a box condition. Marushin .44 Automag - superb condition. 3 magazines plus silver pistol case and 8mm bbs of various weights. Fires well. ACM Mauser - semi-auto. 2 magazines. Fires well, unsure if GBB or NBB though. Good condition. Cheers.
