  1. Very true Rostok. Though it doesn't really depend on the leaders and governments but the people. If everyone in each country treated this seriously and did the right thing it would help in the long run. The authorities are responsible for organising the vaccines (and hopefully there will be more co-operation and help from the richer countries) but if people refuse to have them through ignorance and false information this could drag on for many more years.
  2. I'm sure we can all agree the government is comprised of toffs living in their privileged world with nothing but personal gains on their little minds. BUT They occasionally listen to the doctors and medical experts advising what to do. It should be very clear after two years of this shit situation that its only going to go away if EVERYONE does their bit to protect themselves and each other. The anti-vaxers and people moaning about loosing their rights are precisely the reason we're still in this situation. Luckily the new Omicron variant seems to have less serious symptoms but the more people who are infected the more likely it is to mutate into a worse variant.
  3. Something we can agree on ?
  4. Since you received notification of documents needed I think he just got caught out by the Brexit fiasco. He then got a bit stupid with the delays. You did the right thing by waiting a good amount of time (many would say too long) I would certainly avoid buying or selling second hand abroad
  5. Welcome back to the fold ? What's your area?
  6. Your best bet is to contact a few of the retailers where you've seen it and ask them.
  7. Its not a great battery but good enough for at least half a game day (maybe a whole one) with medium amount of shooting (not auto all the time).
  8. A 7.4v LiPo battery delivers the equivalent power to an 8.4v NiCd but in a smaller package. Does it show the specs?
  9. Even if you put all the best/most expensive upgrades in a gnu there's no guarantee it will all work together. In fact using various company parts its less likely to work well.
  10. Oh no, why do you want to fiddle with a perfectly good purchase straight away? ? After all that, assuming it actually works, how will you even know if you've improved it or not? ? If you really want advice then just clean the barrel as our Stew said and enjoy it. Its good out of the box unless you got a lemon. Think about upgrading if something goes wrong or definitely needs improving after using it and getting to know the sport. ...and really appreciate your wife ?

  12. I'll guess next year February at the earliest
  13. You don't need to worry Zedward. As long as no public see it then you won't have a problem with the police. If neighbours might possibly see it then let them know beforehand that its just a toy. If you use your airguns in the garden then they'll likely be used to seeing gun shapes things. I'm sure many here would still sell you a RIF if you explain the situation.
  14. Hi and welcome Yes, you can legally buy second hand RIFs without having UKARA or any other VCRA defence. Its up to the seller to take the risk that you might do something illegal with it which could possibly have repercussions for them.
  15. You have to put this in Classifieds Good luck selling in one
  16. Yeah, they mark items as 'in stock' when they aren't
  17. I can't remember which retailer it came from but I did receive a hot RiF once. Came without a problem and I just moded it as soon as it arrived.
  18. Yeah, I've ordered a few times from KY including parts and RiFs and got them without issue. (Of course its always possible for things to go wrong) You do have to be prepared to wait as it can take up to a month to get to your door.
  19. Yeah, its fine to use a higher 'C' rated battery. In fact its better because lower 'C' might make the battery heat up. The 'C' rating is a multiple of its overall capacity and indicates the maximum current draw the battery can deliver. A motor will take the power it needs from the battery. If the motor needs a lot of power and the battery has a low 'C' it may struggle to provide that power and get stressed. A battery getting hot indicates its stressed.

Just to note, there still might be a problem with the pistol itself so be careful in case you do need to return it after all.

Do a search on YouTube for 'Gas magazine leak' Because there are so many types of magazine watch a few of them to get a good idea what to do.

    not firing

Can hear the magazine is leaking. Its not difficult to fix but since its new you can return it.

    not firing

Sounds like it has to go back but I'd be curious to see a video of the problem because I can't imagine a situation where it fires OK then stops feeding with gas still in the mag. Could be worth doing a purge on the mag:
  25. I have a suspicion the battery wasn't fully charged when tested. It should produce enough power to cycle properly if only for a short time.
