I did the same, unfortunately I've had to stick with a few site groups just to see what's coming up, but even then I still despair about some of the crap people post up. Thank feck for this place??

Suggestions for a disabled (would-be) new player
Tackle replied to Joe_Swanson's topic in General Help
Hi Joe, all of the above advice is excellent, I'll echo it by saying plastic gun, as long as its a reasonable brand then whatever you like the look of should be fine, accompanied by three hi-caps should be more than enough for your needs, even with a heavy trigger finger. As for load carrying equipment, again the lighter the better will benefit you at this stage, in fact I'd seriously consider a grab bag, (something like thishttps://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/234816279020?hash=item36ac2411ec:g:Kl8AAOSw3Xhjld2a&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAoNgXFPc5xPm4RRY%2B79dia5ERL%2BOokatw%2Bo1NCwCJwqwLIx6SSgJWHB8%2FzWohgks9F9QTFbavmufe4QBWrE%2By534lgQJuxUnRGZ5iZ93qwFc9ywNhl5STyLXVQ2EeFNr2X7Slxbk9NCwIK4QpevT2hZiN5LOluomqdWLToBZLNlRcSZjepQ5J7S%2FpAVtFeq3fWXuo8sRb%2Bwc2x7AKxMDd1%2Fw%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR7aE79ysYQ), essentially a tactical handbag with exterior pockets for easy access to your mags, & a larger centre pocket, enough for 500-1000ml water bottle, the big mouth nalgenes are great & easy to top up in the safezone, couple of chocky bars of your choice, spare battery for your rifle & a small bag of bb's for topping up in case some games don't involve a trip back to the safe zone between turnarounds. Literally it'll be about 3kg at the most, & easy to take off if you need a breather, the numerous tactical vests available may look the part, but layers of heavy sweat inducing nylon are overkill at this point. Decent footwear is a must, again doesn't have to be military issue or Gucci af, comfortable pair of walking boots with ankle support will do. Eye Pro is a must, glasses/goggles or full face is down to you, just be aware that teeth can get chipped, seen it a couple of times myself, expensive to put right & reallyy spoils your day lol. As for sites to play, recommend you look at man-made stuff, cqb or similar rather than woodland, for the next few months it'll be slippery af & every step is littered with trip hazards potentially. & don't feel the need to emulate those around you, play at your own pace while you quite literally find your feet, I currently have mobility problems but doesn't stop me racking up the kills, #sneakymotherfuckerforthewin Literally slow & steady wins the race. Good luck mate, keep us posted & ask here before you spend any money, we'll stop you buying any lemons lol. -

That sucks mate, it's a shame there's no precedent can be applied here to enable the plod to retrieve your rif ☹️

What would be the most realistic airsoft Glock 19?
Tackle replied to LzChase's topic in General Help
Most ksc or kjw G19's come with a metal slide as standard. As for realism, with the occasional exception of a marking denoting "6mm" or similar, most glock 19 are spot on replicating both looks & simple functionality of their real world counterparts. -
Yeah it's really lucky when you lose a loved one ?

You were doing fine until you made the statement above, at which point you alienated everyone who supports law & order. Big lol?
-
That takes me back, I've gone all misty eyed?
-
This thread needs pictures ?
-
@heroshark might know.?

No worries, I'll be honest I sometimes wear mesh (without glasses) but I've never had a BB shatter & cause an issue, but I know others have so better safe than sorry?
-
Should be OK, the mesh size is quite large, giving some concern to bb's potentially shattering & particles getting through, but given that you'll be wearing glasses under it, it should be fine. Masks, bit like boots, are quite a personal thing, what fits & works for one guy may not suit the next guy, so there's often quite a bit of trial & error involved until your happy.
-
Please do, he's got a shitload of kit for sale, if it's all as crap as that one he deserves some public humiliation to warn others. EDIT. couldn't help myself, I had to dive in there with ya?
-
Same guy I pulled over his badly painted overpriced detonics, didn't even reply to my comment, obviously a bodger/chancer ? & unlike here, no option to report a post on Zin, not that the mods there give a feck anyway, but call someone out as a possible scammer etc & they're all over you like a tramp on chips. Someone needs to post on his thread regarding all the issues with the gun, I'd do it but I'd probably get accused of bullying him or something lol
-
Creakiness aside, no reason it can't be used as a dmr base, it looks the part & aside from locking it to semi, maybe a spring change & tweak the hop, your good to go. I'd rather that than pb's other dmr offering at £1.7k lol

The 'What have you just bought' Thread
Tackle replied to Cameron364's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
I think you should paint it mostly yellow & shout "TAZER TAZER TAZER" every time you shoot someone, they'll probably be quite relieved when they get hit by a BB ? -
Yep, exactly what I had in mind, for example imperium at Faversham run some armoured vehicles in games, be cool to ne able to put them out of play with a Charlie G?
-
Having used the real steel a few times, this does nothing for me, glorified m203. Don't get me wrong, great prop for scenario driven games but the idea of carting it around for regular gameplay sounds like hard work for very little benefit. I'd have a "66 though ?
-
Fixed that for ya ?

Nowt wrong with a bit of camping, works for me lol?. As for being 39, I'd just joined up when you were born, your in the prime of your life, get out there & shoot someone?
-
Damn right, about all I can do at the mo, doesn't stop me racking up the kills & having a good time?
-
Welcome JD, first of all, shut your filthy mouth?, no one here is old, being old involves growing up, feck that?. Never say never, at least give playing a try, as long as you go to a well recommended site you should have a great time. Out of interest, how old are you ?
