Converted a Storm grip that was for a PTS (I think) to work with a GBBR . Grafted a section of WE M4 grip in . It's for a mate's L119 A1 build and GBBR Storm grips seem to be rather thin on the ground at the mo.

Not a day , but a few of us have done a couple of sessions at an indoor airsoft place that's close by. It's all target based with electronic targets that can be set in various modes. 4 of us went up there last evening with some of the GBBRs and just did some speed games and some general target shooting , absolute bloody hoot !

You could always cut the slot into one with a dremel

To be fair most GBBRs are over powered out of the box , easily sorted with an NPAS or power down nozzle though.

That is tight then. I've never had a barrel extension that had a grub screw so I doubt there will be one. You might try some heat, ended up dunking one of mine in a mug of boiling water to get it to shift . There is also a verey very slight chance it is a 'normal' thread but I'd be incredibly surprised they are quite unusual in airsoft. I'd go with heat and see if that helps, might have been thread locked.

that should just unscrew , sometimes they can be very tight, and remember it'll be a ccw thread so unscrews the oposite way to a 'normal' thread . You going to run the silencer hard against the rail ? that'lllook very cool ! if you want to take the birdcage off of that extension there is usually a grub screw under the rear of it that needs releasing

Can you be a bit more specific about which bit you are trying to remove ? a silencer would generally just replace the flash hider.

And it now looks like this ! Very long way to go with it yet, barrel is too short for starters, then it will need machining , trades, receiver mods etc. Machining slot is booked though (6 month lead time) . I've modded the fire selector so it's semi only and firing at aprox 1.7j ,my local site has a 1.9j limit for DMR And the inspiration for the build . Not strictly a DMR in the classic style but damn cool.

If you've got other RIFs to use might be the perfect oportunity to start doing your own teching and upgrading. M4 platform is pretty easy to work on , changing hop rubber, barrel etc is straight forward and plenty of how too's for V2 box's out there.

If the E&C is the 'classic' 416 it has a different mag well than a normal M4 , deeper at the front, that does cause fit issues with some mags. I have some Lonex flash mags that fit my 416 but I have no idea what brand the receiver is as I built it from parts. Hopefully someone has the same gun as you and can answer definitivly

I did notice that they dissapeared rather rapidly ! I've got an ambi semi auto only selector whict I plan to adapt to fit and also have the HAO right side 'knob' so hopefully I can make something up

This is the absolute truth, unfortunatly when you get players who are and who are packing guns with insane ROF the day tends to down the toilet pretty rapidly. Not a fan of HPA personally but the high ROF issue doesn't just apply to them , plenty of aegs with stupidly high ROF too and all too often you get a knob using one .

Anything over say 30 rps could be limited to real cap mags only , that would encourage more use of semi and just short bursts of auto. Mag changes would slow things down if anyone wants to go full wanker mode.
