Have you actually cocked it? you need to pull the charging lever backwards out of the gun to load the first bb and load the spring with pressure to start firing when you pull the trigger switched the safety to “fire”? got the magazine all the way into the grip properly? checked that the semi/full auto selector is t somewhere in between?

Spotted this simple idea on a Korean Airsoft website when looking for a tip on one of my RIF’s Pretty simple and a doddle to make, the only painful bit was hot gluing the strings inside to help slow down the bb’s (who’d have thought Hot Glue can burn ya!) 9mm thick interlocking foam floor mats, the type used for the nursery play area - less than £10 on Amazon Double lined the back face opposite the Chrono, then approx 200m of string suspended from the top to snare the bb’s Should save the TV from stray shots ?

I changed the hop rubber and the barrel to a Prometheus unit gave a little more range but better accuracy I didn’t touch the internals, but after chronoing it on site, I probably would have changed the piston head & spring to get a bit more fps out of it

One of my buddies bought a bundle and included with it was a carton of glass bb’s!! they do exist! They were quickly dispatched to the bin! But horrifying to think of the consequences of a shattered glass bb after a mesh mask/ eye pro impact ?

The reason I ask is I found mine really pulling my helmet down, in turn pushing my safety glasses into the bridge of my nose , very uncomfortable I have an Emerson counterweight “pouch” fitted to the back of my helmet, and installed a metal torch to see if it helps, it did a bit. but it needs more weight, so a visit to B&Q today to see if I could get a large bolt. The intention was to fill the treaded area with washers then a nut at the end. But the bolts in the “Pick n Mix” hardware section are just pot metal with little weigh to them might look into a fishing store and see what I can find I have also heard of folk using wheel balancing weights. They have adhesive tape, so just stick them together to make a block ??‍♂️
