  1. No, they had no idea there were 8mm bbs and were adamant I am wrong. Tempted to just take it and see what they say in person, but would be nice to know beforehand. And it's gas, low power stuff though.
  2. After calling up my regular site and asking if they allow 8mm bbs, and being told "no, it's an airsoft site." And they're part of a chain. Does any site still allow or even know about 8mm? Gun in question is sub 1 joule marushin pistol.
  3. It's the same one that was on for £30 the other day. I don't blame him for the mark up though, but it's untested and problems with WAs can be a nightmare as parts are a pain. I am tempted as I have a WA mag that should fit. The thing is... western arms are worth more than what they sell for but most people see a plastic 1911 that they can't easily buy mags for. When people who own them know they're friggin awesome.
  4. Agree. Theres a huge difference between "guys, my gun has packed in, could I borrow one medium to long term please" and "I want this really expensive gun, buy it for me"
  5. I'll have a western arms AMT with a prime metal kit and 10 mags. Giz me monies.
  6. Keep finding uzis. So I keep buying them...
  7. The exact opposite of a dreamer, who managed to bag the Western Arms 1911 for 30 quid on prefired?
  8. I am 99% sure I'm going to keep the uzi now. I thought I was a lot more skint than I am.
  9. They come covered in oil. My barrel and hop was filthy. But they use VSR spec barrels and hops, mine had very nice range.
  10. Acquired a pair of pistols recently. The bisley is the one @HELIflipper03 sold recently, though I got it off the guy who bought it from him. It's like new. Other is a western arms longslide that I was selling for a friend and just ended up with myself. Both will be skirmished and both shoot very nicely. In fact I'd forgotten how nice Tanakas revolvers are.
  11. @Jaylordofwaargh I think this video says it all. A measured 22 yards.
  12. Actually... it was being sold as part of my mates collection, and I just figured I'd actually have it for myself. It's properly nice. Though I have had a few... odd... messages about it. Not through here though
  13. Well if theyve said that today then that's very positive. I will be having one.
  14. I dunno whether it was your post on fb I commented on but Northeast have gone very quiet on these, they responded to a message/comment I made on their page about them being indefinitely delayed. I really hope Cybergun haven't put the kybosh on these due to licencing.
  15. Sort of on topic as we get flip outs and I'm awaiting oneneo to reply, Does the careful now reaction do negative things to someones profile?
  16. I'm not annoyed. Just disappointed. You hear that @OneNeo? Disappointed. I'm keeping it anyway. It was listed as part of my mates downsizing and after having a go... it's just got to be mine.
  17. Oh... go away dude. You blatantly haven't got a clue. Are you the same tit that messaged me on discord? @SkaraI have a reasonable idea who it is.
  18. It's just the calm before the storm.
  19. I've been trying to prise this off a mate for a while, a KTW flintlock. Finally succeeded. It's a Springer, about 230 fps but very accurate and consistent, which actually makes it a skirmishable gun.
  20. Nah mate the stock is bent to make it more speedy. It ain't broke it's meant to be like that...
  21. 60 quid more than new, for an old type dan wesson, that appears to be missing a shell.
  22. I'm not generally an audi fan but bought a mk1 BAM TT.
  23. £165 all in for an mp9 with NO mags.
  24. It was brilliant. Hopefully see you on the next one.
  25. The first of hopefully many western airsoft events started today. Honestly, been playing 8 years, this is the most fun I've had at a game. Lots of very nice usually useless guns like shell ejecting shotguns and revolvers all being used.
