      lol..he was selling Mk7's..so I bought some!  Also I asked about my BFG as he also mentioned in safety brief plastic encased grenades are ok...and my BFG though metal is encased in plastic.  Looks like BFG's are back on the menu...though Magflash is probably a bit over the top, so will stick to 9mm blanks. :)

    VSS performed well even though a couple of the mags didn't feed very well, but I suspect it may be down to the ammo

     

    and it also was overhopping .40s ?

    So DMR'd the VSS, m140 spring, sorted the airseal, AOE and shimming

     

    Should be getting around the 450-470 fps

     

    Fire a few down the garden with .20s

     

    565fps.................

    with some paypal funds and a good pay week I ordered the gun to go with them ?

     

    and now to gut it and DMR it.................

    that looks just the same as when i opened mine up except for the frayed wiring they are made by king arms and all that looks just like mine was except the cylinder head was black in mine i think and it had a delay chip on the sector gear

    tbh the standard mosfet is trash, might be worth a try on shimming ?

    The hop unit for a Bren is a bit of a pain as it's proprietary, I've not had that problem personally but I do have a spring in mine to push it back. might be worth checking the unit is complete as there's an extra piece of plastic attached to the front to keep it centred and upright as I've forgotten to put it back on myself before I had the problem of double feeding in mine so I gutted it and fitted a titan The bren has the longest nozzle in any gun I've worked on (34.1mm) what battery are you using? could be that it's going too fast and the mags can't keep up

    SVD Combat union Hop unit arrived. Installed fine.

     

    Loading nozzle is too short so now mags won't feed unless I hold them in ?

      damn, no bodges to the mags/magwell that could fix it?

      might try packing the mag catch so the mag sits slightly higher

       

      shame really, was getting a steady 470 fps on .20s when it fired  ?

      yeah they're good units, but sadly even good stuff doesn't always work out perfect if it ain't right for the gun.

       

      hopefully some packing will help.
