It's finally ready for a test shoot. Managed to get a new old stock systema gearbox , stuck a aster in it and using a ares high torque slim motor and slim grip. Thinking its on the warm side atm..

It could be just the sound but that gearbox does not sound right at all ! Back the motor off a little and retry

Just had to check but some companies did the reciver with these trades , I know as I have a l119 in bits atm. I think it was big dragon the make ? Another was g&p body set

I love the movie gun the biggest pain has been trying to find the aimpoint mount ... just gave up and got a clone of a rs unit.. The 723 has a silly long king arms ops suppressor my biggest issue is its a gov marked lower.. plan was to build both film version and rs.. all on a tight budget ?

Been building a m723 and m727 for a good part of the year after buying the suppressors from this forum.. This is the 727 so far and was aimed at being a gordon sniper.. Good pal pointed out wrong mount for the touch.. doh I owned spez's blood diamond 727 back in the day and just copied how he did it..

I did wonder why you would paint a rs kac ras and noticed the clamp and screw was missing but for the price I had to have it. Not fully cleaned up yet but it's not looking to bad , need to find some ali black for the damage ( mind is boggled at how this happened)

I'm a little confused, ar15 handguards all come off the same , pull the slip ring back , it might be hard but will come away , wiring is fine as the reciver has a cut out. Fh off and then both pins and the Allen nut on the front sight and it will all pull away ( make sure to fully undo the Allen nut or it will mark the barrel. Just pulled a 727 project out the cupboard, notice how it's my handguard twisting and the barrel nut it solid , when the lower is on no flex at all 20240621_213043.mp4

I used a pipe wrench for years , but yes ar wrench are worth it for the cost

Your delta is lose , front sight off with the gas tube and tighten it up making sure the gas tube can go back in , you might need barrel shims but most times they arnt needed.
