    OT but with a ZCi barrel, (£8.50) hop unit, 60 degree maple leaf bucking & omega nub mine's over-hopping 0.32g's with room left on the wheel.

    I've got a ML yellow (60 degree), AK2M4 omega copy nub, ZCI plastic rotary hop unit and ZCI 229MM inner barrel in mine. Feeds well and numbers look good on the chrono. Looking forward to seeing what it can lift at the weekend, just a shame I won't be able to test full potential this month. However it'll only ever serve as a back-up anyway. I wanted to ask though, has anybody worked out how to utilise the externally threaded flash hider? Would be cool if there was a tracer unit out there I could just screw over it.

    Buy Cheap, Buy twice? This is the CYMA Platinum edition M4 I had delivered yesterday. Not entirely impressed with the externals (a few different areas quite wobnly/flappy). The worst offender is the suppressor moves around off centre to the barrel very easily and the inner barrel is even chipped on the front. Saying that the double Eagle seems to be far better put together and was half the price!

      @ak2m4 - Parts arrived today and couldn't have been simpler to install. All I can say is it feeds well. Excited to see how it performs with 60 degree maple leaf bucking and omega nub. The stock setup it was a bit lack luster on 0.28g's but with it getting dark so early now I may have to wait for the weekend.

    Not at all, if the price is spot on then I pay it. I've listed £120 items for £60 before and had people offer me £30 though.

    Definitely. I ordered this and kept saying to myself that it was going to feel cheap and nasty, so had intended to send it back and decided instead to order one of CYMA Platinum M4's which even and double the price is still a budget gun but comes with mosfet, QC spring, 13:1 steel gears etc. So I've got that on the the way too. Can't justify keeping both though ?

    Double Eagle M904G (Honey Badger). Less than £120 delivered from Taiwangun. This thing is a lot of gun for less than some places sell Raven Glocks. Solid build, flat trigger with intuitive programmable mosfet (battery protection, 2 - 5 round burst, trigger sensitivity and binary mode). Quick change spring (was sent firing right around 340fps as advertised). Heck, it even comes wired to deans! I don't think it'll replace my Scorpion Evo (which BTW was three times the price) but if I was a new player and/or on a budget I'd happily use this at every skirmish. As it stands it'll serve as a backup or loaner.

    Deffo. Hoping that you're on only going to lose £250 and sell it as a job lot (especially when it was originally two tone and some stuff is broken/marked) is the very definition of this thread title. Sadly they'd be fortunate to get £500 as a package.

    Wondering if it might even be the opposite issue, the gas being too powerful. I use Nuprol 2.0 as a baseline and go from there.

    What sort of temperatures are you shooting in? I have an Umarex Glock 19X and I've always been amazed how well it performs when I've shot indoors at home or briefly in the garden. However I used it last Saturday and noticed the same issue once it was properly cold. The slide moved back every time but it only racked a BB every second shot.

    After much deliberating I've just ordered one of these for myself. Also went for a 200MM suppressor so I can extend an inner barrel through it if need be.
