Not only that but take a secondhand Marui pistol for example. If it's £100 + £15 postage + £4 fees = £119. Quite often you can find the same pistol brand new and with postage (and yes Paypal fees) included from firesupport for £10 - £15 more.

This is one of my pet peeves. Which other way is there to pay? Unless I knew the seller well I wouldn't feel comfortable paying cash upon collection. Plus at least state how much extra postage cost (I know in this case they've stated "free" but in general) would be. Plus of course it's overpriced. These are £400 new, 4 x mags and a foregrip don't warrant £340 on top of the £240 (at 60% value for the RIF alone).

£400 + £20 postage.

Oh wow, that's quite something. I just had a quick check and they probably did pay around £400 new for the whole package but considering it's two tone and how little mags, batteries, foregrips and replica sights and slings are worth as extra's it probably needs to be about 50% of what it's advertised at.

I removed the trigger safety on my G17 and lost the spring. The gun works perfectly without it, now I'm strongly considering not putting it back on ?

I mean people who try to assure you that the rifle will be spot on just as soon as you add a washer or screw to that part etc. Although, how would you know how much to knock-off unless you knew what the issue was? Otherwise you're just selling as boneyard and we're talking pennies on the pound.

Supporting the local economy is one thing but this was a £45 order and the parts aren't available in The UK. So paying nearly 50% in top is more than a tad frustrating....

I ordered a set off body pins from out the UK - 12.99 - Customs tried too charge me £8.99 VAT + 8.00 Handling. Imagine Post Brexit.

If it was actually protecting UK industry, you could see the point, but we don't make most of this stuff, and couldn't come anywhere near to competing on price even if we did.
It's just more money to the exchequer at this point.

@Rogerborg - Doubly frustrating because I realised I'd order the wrong part colour pretty much as soon as I checked-out. E-mailed the seller and they replied that they don't have it in the other colour and dispatched this one almost immediately because I was asking to cancel it.

Has no one brought this one up? From £700 for a pistol with no hop chamber, barrel or bucking to £350 for half a pistol. Not saying you could build it yourself for less, just that it goes to show that no matter how much you put in to a build, there's a maximum value when selling them on.

The reason you ask? Literally all of these are unskirmished.

@rocketdogbert - Oh yeah, definitely not. I'm about £500 deep. Because there aren't enough black Glocks in this world!
@Adolf Hamster - I concur. I could then put the AAP-01 in the tan Glock case I have....which makes sense in a roundabout way.

What if they're wearing thick layers, helmet/full face mask? I can tell the habitual cheaters by their lack of defensive tactics. A certain team I know of are notorious for charging in to the village and clearing rooms quickly, simply because they don't call their hits. What would you do if you saw a couple of shots bounce off someone's helmet and then they're upon you with their drum magged ARP, questioning why you're not calling yours? I also watched my own team member stand out in the open (just past the tree line), firing at will, getting hit, walking back about three metres and then turning around and carrying on (when the rules were to go back to the respawn, some distance away).

Yeah, just had a look and not sure I fancy one now. I am tempted by the CNC upper receivers though. Oh and I've already bought a AW drum mag!

I don't necessarily need two but I have the FDE and most of the accessories they've released so far look much better on the black version...grrr. Much like you I'm interested in it as a CQB primary, so was actually considering getting this stock: https://www.airsoftworld.net/action-army-aap-01-folding-stock.html Totally agree, I have recently put a cowcow adjustable trigger on my Marui G17 and it's so much nicer.

@Schnakey - Yeah I recall having the same issue with my KJW G26 & 32C. I may just put up with it then as not sure if the rear chassis is the same for AAP?

I know @Skara has one. Anyone else? I was toying with the idea of selling mine but after using it some more, I can see it's got so much more potential than any of my other pistols. I chrono'ed at 350fps, dropping to 330 on the Action Army mags, around 315 on Umarex (VGC), G19X mags and 300 on Marui G17 mags. The latter two have a concave gas router, compared to the flat one of the Action Army and WE's, so maybe that's affecting FPS? I know it's still early days but as mentioned it looks to be highly modular with various carbine kits already released and many owners extending the barrel, adding handguards and stocks etc. One thing I would like to change is it has a Glock style trigger but doesn't stay back when it's de-cocked. Anyone know of a fix to that? Long and the short of it, if there is anyone out there customising etc, let's see it for inspiration and we can also use this as a thread to address any issues/fixes we encounter.
