  1. This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine. Can I join properly now please?
  2. I mean, if you ever change your mind, just PM me hun ?
  3. Been following your journey mate. Stockpiling bits and bobs for my first MWS build. Just need the gun and I can start!
  4. That's reassuring to know as I ordered one yesterday...and yes, as @AlphaBearsaid, HAO aren't delivering to the UK at the moment, but as I'm still waiting for Fire Support's TM restock, I haven't got a gun to attach it to anyhow!
  5. I still wear it, unfortunately, but then again, not much use for Virtus at sea!
  6. Awesome! What brand tape do you recommend to secure it to the upper?
  7. Well, many days after starting, I've finally finished all 200 pages. Apart from figuring out that I really need to do more with my spare time, here are my main take homes from the thread: The MWS in all its iterations is, as Snoop may say, the shiznit The MK18 version looks ace but the design is mental The third party support for the platform is huge @AlphaBearhates Nuprol The one constant upgrade that almost everyone agrees on as being performance enhancing and therefore an essential purchase, is the SixG brass nub Whenever retailers get any MWS's or TM original parts in stock (especially mags), they disappear rapidly, so act fast Angry Gun are shit, but they're not, sort of HAO Industries kits are incredible looking (416 and L119A2 ?) but are jaw-droppingly expensive @AlphaBearreally hates Nuprol Fire Support provide excellent service to the needy and cash-rich MWS brethren Depending on barrel length, ammo weight, nub type, gas type, ambient conditions, lunar alignment and inside leg measurement, FPS ranges from 200 - 1,400 fps The green gas mag mod is not necessarily necessary @AlphaBearfrigging hates Nuprol Become familiar with Impulse101 and other Japanese sites and order well in advance of needing spare TM parts Nozzles, nozzle springs, TM hop rubbers and a decent armourer's wrench should be in everyone's tool/spares box This thread is an absolute goldmine of people willing to share information, admire other people's builds and welcoming other people in joining the growing number of MWS owners @AlphaBearabsolutely, positively hates Nuprol Thanks everyone. Looking forward to receiving the stock alert email telling me it's time to sell a kidney (or kid) as my MWS journey is about to begin.
  8. Prommy tightbore and purple hop rubber and nub from Eagle 6, plus an Odin from BZ Tactical
  9. Why is it whenever you have the funds, the retailers don't have the stock?

    1. GAMBLE

Aahh yes ‘Murphy’s law of whatdafuckery !’ ?‍♂️
When you have the dosh no one has the goods you want for sale but when you don’t have the dosh EVERYONE has the goods you want for sale ! ?

  10. Sounds like a good idea, and yes, it's easy to clock up the cost! I had the Viper VX and it was fine for a couple of games, then I noticed it wearing in places. No way I wanted to trust a £600 gun to a £12 sling. I got a the BFG VCAS from UK Tactical and it's absolutely awesome.
  11. Nothing to do with your question, but having spent all that money on producing a cracking gun, please, do yourself a favour and protect it by investing in a more robust sling.
  12. That is probably the most comprehensive response I could've got! Really appreciate it buddy, thank you, and the gun looks great ??
  13. I'm probably opening myself up for a fair amount of abuse, or at least a stack of eye rolling and "here we go again" type comments, but I appreciate your comments and thoughts regardless; I'm looking to get my first GBBR with a view to building a gun I can (effectively) field next year. I'm toying with a L119A2 build (told you the eye-rolling would start) but am not too concerned with it being 100% accurate. I know I'd need the Angry Gun rail and outer barrel, and personally I'd want a Magpul CTR stock, Magpul pistol grip and foregrip and run it with a suppressor, but those are all decisions for the future. My question is, is this a viable idea for a TM GBBR, and if so, what would be a good base platform to start with; the M4 MWS or CQB-R? Like I mentioned, I'm looking at this as a longer term project, primarily to make it easier from a finance point of view, but also because I'm a fickle bastard and may change my mind halfway through - I may end up wanting a more generic SF M4-style build as I am a big fan of Seal Team-style loadouts for example - so would love to hear your experiences, recommendations and warnings of any pitfalls. Thank you.
  14. I did. Did I make a great job of it? Noooo ? Everything works but I'll certainly need to neaten things up You're not allowed to mention the word 'tan' to me, you know I have no willpower. I keep looking at stocks, pistol grips and foregrips as it is ?
  15. Let's see how these badgers perform. Titan 7.4v with a new charging bag (smaller than I thought!) and a free patch from Platoon
  16. The WAS poly mags are standard 3 MOLLE rows high. If you're after them in Coyote let me know
  17. I recently got the PLB belt in Coyote to go with a new loadout. Had an OD one before and really liked it. The belts are comfortable with loads of MOLLE space. My only niggles with them are that the buckle strap could be thicker and the buckle itself is unnecessarily fiddly. I picked up the shooters belt pack and, even though I'm not a fan of the mag pouches, it's great value.
  18. Annoyingly it doesn't seem like they're available from the same seller I used. You could always contact them through eBay to see if they still stock them https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/realairsoftuk If not, this looks similar, if not identical, standfast the extras I got like the ScopeCoat and batteries etc: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Holographic-Red-Dot-style-XPS3-558-Airsoft-Scope-Sight-G43-Magnifier-/294056673191?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292
  19. They got loads of designs bro, including various woodland https://www.hueys.co.uk/epages/es151784.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/es151784/Categories/Category1/Headwear/Helmet_Covers
  20. I recently picked up these from Real Airsoft UK on eBay: For clones they're pretty good. Only issue i have is, to get the correct eye relief on the G43 I've had to remove the rear iron sight. the G33 may have been a better option for me. Package had the 558, G43, batteries, Scopecoat, EoTech stickers and a really solid storage box.
  21. Something like this? https://www.hueys.co.uk/OPS-Air-Frame-Helmet-Cover-Multicam
  22. You never know. Keep your eyes on the ads! Got the airsoft equivalent of ADHD when it comes to gear and loadouts...although I think that's just normal for airsofters isnt it?
  23. Loadout getting closer to completion with today's deliveries: Warrior Assault Systems Gen 2 Hydration pack in Coyote and Pentagon Raptor baseball cap, which probably won't be for skirmishing but it was only about £7 from UK Tactical Mechanix M-Pact gloves, also in Coyote and Blue Force Gear sling mount from Tactical Kit PTS EPS for the 416 and a bonus pack of paedo pellets from Dave's Custom Airsoft Still a few more bits and pieces to go to give me a few options for different plate carrier and/or chest rig setups, but going well.
  24. I've got a few pairs of Helikon trousers with the built-in internal knee pockets. Their foam inserts are pretty big so may be a solution? Got mine from Military 1st.
