  1. He's admitted to being a shop with warranties and returns so hopefully the mods will dust off the ban hammer
  2. As others have posted, AEPs are generally a bit shit and not really worth it unless you just want filler for a holster, which at that point you might as well get a cheap springer. With many you'll have better range and accuracy throwing the pistol. Unless you're playing cqb or using a higher power gun with a MED then pistols aren't that useful and will spend 99% of the time in the holster. An extra mag or two for your primary would be more useful and not take up more space. If your situation is really that bad then stop looking at buying anything. Sure buying a new toy will give you that short term happiness from the dopamine hit, but it won't last and you'll be back where you started, just £60 worse off. Of core this comes with a massive dose of do as I say, not as I do.
  3. Agreed. These people contribute ⅘ of bugger all to the forum and only use it to rip people off. Here's another example if it was needed
  4. Would it be worth putting a piece of rubber inside where the bolt hits to soften the impact?
  5. Thanks If that's all I need to do to prevent the receiver from breaking then that's not a problem. Also I'm not planning on using anything stronger than green gas so hopefully that'll make it last. I had heard about that. As I understand it, it's a similar fix to mk23 mags which I can do. It'll be for cqb so I'll not bother with anything on the muzzle to keep it as short as possible.
  6. I'm going to be getting a TM MP7 GBB this weekend. Are there any issues or things I should know about first?
  7. Don't 99% of all bbs come from the same few factories and the only difference is the label on the bottle/bag?
  8. I just draw a rough circle on a cardboard box and prop it up on a plastic garden chair. Imo there's no point in buying anything fancy if I'm just going to shoot holes in it
  9. Said the nun to the bishop
  10. It's also unusable at 99% of sites
  11. @Emergencychimps covered most if it but to add to it those sort of teams are often "led" by some jumped up little twat with a napoleon complex who thinks they know it all
  12. As others have posted attending games and meeting like minded folk is the best way on to a team. In my experience, all be it skirmishes rather than milsim, teams who are actively looking for new members are usually doing it for a reason and the reason is usually bad.
  13. *Insert popcorn gif here* Especially if you look at how the band broke up and the butter salesman's dumb fuck antics over the past few years
  14. That's a big if though. It's far more likely that if it does sell it'll be to someone in GB
  15. This but I'm sure it'll all change when some chavvy twat decides to wave one around in public
  16. Good to hear. At least if they say no you can go through them for a refund
  17. What gun and gas are you using at the moment? It could be that you just need a more powerful gas. As already posted, AEPs are generally a bit crap. While they may work in all temperatures (although colder weather affects battery life) they're low powered (0.5j) so players may genuinely not notice the hit. Especially if it's on load carrying kit or they're wearing thicker clothing. I'd look at either a non blow back like the mk23 or a CO2 powered pistol
  18. Assuming they're sending it via parcelforce 48 hour service there's no way it costs that much, even with the extra insurance
  19. Please tell us you paid with a card, not cash
  20. Name and shame the shop too
  21. I've got one and have used in on outdoor fields many times without problems, loaded up with. 28g bbs mine will happily keep up. The only things to be wary of are, 1. The plastic body can be a bit fragile, especially round the pins at the back. This isn't a problem if you run it without the stock 2. If you get the one with ris rails battery changes are a pain in the arse. You need to take the whole rail off before you can even disconnect the battery which involves 7 small nuts and bolts which are easily lost if doing it in the field. I fitted a peq box as it also allows me to use a bigger battery (in both size and voltage)
