Have I made a mistake? of buying this weapon?
Cannonfodder replied to Yashy's topic in General Discussion
You definitely want something heavier than .2g. I use .28g as I find they give the best compromise between giving me better range and time to target. -

Unless your mate's gun is locked to semi auto he won't be able to use it anywhere as it's way above any site limit. Hell its above UK legal limits. Tbh from what I've read here you've made the better choice as DCA are renown for charging stupidly high prices -

Part of me wants him to be successful here so we can all watch and laugh as he gets locked up -
Bloody hell that's quite a break. Hope it heals up quickly

An attention seeking cock womble who brings nothing but bad publicity to the game. I refuse to play at any site which allows him to play there -

Help- can you identify these airsoft trip mines
Cannonfodder replied to 1967PF44's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
I found fishing line was perfect for my home made trip wires, but then again it only had to pull a bit of card out from a clothes peg Before anyone gets their panties knotted it was only the trip wire part which was homemade, the bangy bit was a shop bought mk5 maroon -
The 'How Did Your Airsoft Day Go? Thread
Cannonfodder replied to Skara's topic in General Discussion
I think he means that if someone is against the wall next to a doorway it's easier to learn through the doorway and get a shot off at them with a pistol or SMG than with a longer rifle/carbine. For example in the picture below (yes, I know I've got no artistic ability) the green is the shooter and red is the target. Here as green leans through the doorway they can have the pistol up and ready to fire as they move rather than having to manoeuvre the muzzle round the door frame -

It's a Dynatex Scaremonger Blank Firing Trip Mine according to google, they come in .209, 9mm and 12g flavours. Unfortunately I can't find much more than that. If you get it working please let us know what they're like as I'm always interested in stuff that goes boom -
I don't know if it's all stores as my local one is an outlet store and often don't have the same stock as the regular ones

I prefer something like this. https://www.prankpresents.co.uk/

The fact that the only message he replied to was to deny that's his address then I think you've found him. Also here's his fb page if it helps https://m.facebook.com/profile.php/?id=598451958 Edit: the link above shows his employer is a company called Car360. You could try ringing him there

Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread
Cannonfodder replied to Mack's topic in General Discussion
Same here. @oddjob can you elaborate please Edit: not sure what's worse, the as new price or the paint job that looks like it was done by a toddler -
I've already got mess tins and a mini camping stove (not sure of the make but it's pretty good at heating up water quickly) so I'm sorted for that. The tin sounds like a good idea as even the civi camping meals can work out a bit pricey when you add the postage, especially now that my local mountain warehouse have stopped selling them in store
-
They definitely are, hence me hoping for a lead on cheaper ones. I'm not planning on eating a whole 24hr pack on a skirmish day (I learnt not to do that the hard way?). I just find it nice to have something warm to eat, especially as the temperatures drop. Fair enough, I suspected that would be the case.

I take it the gun is relatively new then

2 middle aged women are having lunch and discussing ways the beat the aging process. One says "I'm having a boob job" The other says "I'm getting my arsehole bleached" The first replies "really? I can't imagine your husband as a blonde"
-
Very nice. Where did you get them? The site which is probably going to become my regular haunt doesn't provide lunch do I've been looking around for a good deal on MREs

Which is still too much. If we use the 60-70% rule it should be £146-£170 assuming it's in good condition -

Between his bullshit prices and attitude to the slightest criticism on social media it's a wonder how he's still in business -

£800 for a butchered MP5? The reason it's had the sights hacked off is a real boozy too. I'll take 2 of whatever he's been smoking -
Agreed. Before even opening the thread my first thought was that it would be either a Vorsk or Raven
