I would argue your question implies that you are trying to find a way to circumvent the established rules. I simply care about a hobby that as we have seen in other countries as been banned quite simply because some people don’t care about the legalities. You asked and questions and the answers were provided. Because they don’t match what you wanted to hear there is no need to be rude. Members here have worked hard to stay within the rules so if you expect anyone to tell you a cheat to buy a rif I suspect you are looking in the wrong place. My point simple was the rules are there for a reason, are they perfect of course not. However we have to make sure was responsible rif owners to show we can say within the rules and laws.

For my 5 pence worth, although the current system it could be argued isn’t the best it is something and it’s recognised. When I was reenacting I had all the insurances and memberships but I could only ever buy rifs that corresponded to the time period I was portraying. My quite brutal answer would be if you can’t make time to play frequently then maybe Airsoft isn’t for you.

So after a fairly long hiatus due to having more kids (Clearly can’t keep it in my pants). I finally have the time and more importantly money to get back into the hobby. All I need to do now is restock all my stuff. if I don’t tell the missus how much it was she won’t mind haha ? But I’m a few years older definitely not wiser and can’t wait to get started again.

I think the 60-70% rule is fair most of the time, as a buyer you can only go off the information given by the seller. I’m sure it’s been known that descriptions differ from what is purchased on rare occasions. As a seller you have to factor in the target market as well. I have a Nuprol M4 that I’m happy to sell with mags for not a lot of money as I understand it’s a Nuprol ( I think it’s not a bad rif actually, but there is a thread already on here for that haha). Were as my PSG is a different proposition so I know I will lose more on the PSG than the Nuprol and accept that. it also depends like @alxndrhllhas said on if someone will wait or they just want the readdies. at the end of the day something is only worth what someone else wants to pay, I’ve learnt that and I’m sure the seller of the mp5 will learn that. At the end of the day we are all guilty of initially thinking our stuff is worth more than it is and we are all out for a bargain but I always ask myself the question am I willing to take the price hit before I list it.
