If you have bought issue AKU Pilgrim boots, take them back if you can. The heels wear down very quickly and they are far from being waterproof, despite the GoreTex lining.
-
I haven't used the Wii Tech one as the SHS one does an excellent job.
-
Minimalist, definitely minimalist.
-
I have the SHS hop in mine; it performs really well. I think I have a Wii Tech one somewhere as I bought both of them.

The G&G ETU is a trigger unit and a board; you can swap the board part of it for the Perun ETU++.

Ex attempting to sell me back my RIF - Is this an offence under the VCRA?
Colin Allen replied to DrFumbles's topic in UK Law
She does not need a defence to keep it or to sell it; however, before selling it to you, she needs to be sure that you have a defence. Attempting to sell it to you would almost certainly not be a criminal act. Tackle's advice is good, as ever. -
In 2021, which is the last year for which full data is available, Germany's trade deficit with China was 39,399,934,000 Euros, which is Germany's largest trade deficit with any country. According to the German Economic Institute (Institut der Deutschen Wirtschaft), the 2022 deficit was 41 billion Euros by the middle of 2022.

Shipping rates from China have also dropped to the extent that shipping lines are limiting the number of voyages to try to push the rates up. For some reason, export of RIFs is now only allowed through Hong Kong.
-
Logistics issues do not just impact items coming from China;).
-
No problem; I am sure there are other sites locally, but those were the ones that came to mind.

You just book into events; most players are friendly and I suspect that he will make friends at whichever site(s) he attends. Players are usually happy to chat about their kit and guns. If you are in the East Surrey/West Kent area, you could try the following: Ace Combat (near Paddock Wood) - small, but decent for beginners. Dog tag (near Faygate) Driver Wood (near Crawley) Tactical Warfare Airsoft (near New Addington) - lots of youngsters.
-
That is a result of the lockdowns in China, their current policy on exporting airsoft guns, and continuing logistics issues. Retailers cannot stock what they cannot get.
-
Times are hard for everyone, including airsoft retailers; their operating costs have gone through the roof while sales have decreased, partly through unavailability of stock due to lockdowns in China and the lingering impact of logistics issues. Already tight margins have been squeezed to the point where offering discounts is not viable.

1. Heavier BBs tend to give greater accuracy and longer range. 2. Yes, if it is locked to semi, although you would be very close to the limit. Bear in mind that not all chronos read the same so you could end up not being able to use it if the site chrono reads higher than your one. 3. While power has an impact on range, a high quality barrel (not a Madbull Python!), hop unit, rubber and nub are vital, as is ensuring that you have excellent airseals and that the barrel and cylinder are properly matched. To push the power up to 1.87J, you need to fit a stronger spring; to pull back that stronger spring, you are almost certainly going to need a high torque motor. However, there is far more to setting up a DMR than that. Your site is sensible in using Joules rather than FPS; 1.88J is around 450 FPS using a 0.20g BB. Impulse gave you good advice.

Double Eagle M920A with fancy new MOSFET / ETU system

Negative Luke was not hugely impressed with the Kestrel V2, although it may fit much better in the DE gearbox. -
An antiques dealer would price it at about £250.
-
A second hand, resprayed two tone for well over the price of a new one; I can't see the problem.
-
Those were the days! For some reason, my Hurricane SR47 would not feed their BBs; every other gun loved them, but not the SR47.

Cool gear! What does polsim involve? Do you take part in milsims as a police force or do you do specific polsim events with other players as villains?

Bloody hell! This is better than Eastenders! What did you do to merit being kicked out at 2AM? Going back in and lifting some of her stuff is a bad idea; it is theft and could seriously worsen your situation. Keep the right on your side. -
I agree with Rogerborg; you don't need one of the in-gearbox units. A decent mosfet, such as the Perun AB++ or, if you do not want pre-cocking, a Gate NanoAAB, will do the job. Changing the gears to 16:1 will give a slight additional improvement but a new motor, a higher voltage battery, a mosfet and Deans will probably be enough.
-
The first thing to do might be to change the motor for something like an SHS or Rocket high torque one. That will give you both better trigger response and a higher rate of fire. If that fails to please you, you could run it on an 11.1v battery, although you would be inflicting more pain on the trigger contacts and moving parts. if it is a rear wired solid stock version, a 9.9v LiFe battery, in conjunction with one of the aforementioned motors should bring a smile to your face while not overly stressing the gears etc. if you are going to go for a simple mosfet, make sure that it is a hardwired one rather than one of the plug and play ones; the latter do nothing to increase the longevity of your trigger contacts. Getting rid of the fuse and changing the connectors to Deans, if they are Tamiya, will also help.

I will believe it when I have one in my hands.

MAS Modele 36. Yes, very disappointed in King Arms; however, I suspect that they are aware of the limited market for the L1A1 and FAL.
