  1. Ammo is the first thing to look at. I think you've identified the problem yourself. Only use decent ammo, it's too expensive to use cheap ammo.
  2. It stands for 'Top Dead Centre' I.e. rather than the usual hop lever moving forwards and backwards to adjust the hop, you mod the rifle so that you press the hop down directly from above. It helps with consistency and more. When it comes to vsr clones, I'd go with the cyma 701. It's a little better quality than the well, and standard 428mm length barrel rather than the Well's 500-something. But personally, I'd go for an action army T11. Same design, vsr compatible, but better build quality still, a more modern, funkier look, and comes with a 90 degree trigger as standard, so it'll be more durable when you put a higher powered spring in. Plus, it's only a bit more expensive than a clone VSR, at around £160 or so (at last check). Couple of mine below for reference.
  3. Try outdoor & tactical. https://www.outdoorandtactical.co.uk/product-category/accessories-parts/sniper-upgrade-parts/l96-upgrade-parts Admittedly, they're not the most easy model to get parts for nowadays, as they were never as popular as the VSR or the Maruzen style L96s. Imo, I would leave it and go for something else. A cheap VSR clone will be cheaper and easier to upgrade & source parts for.
  4. That one's for an M92. You need one designed for glocks. https://airsoftdirect.uk.com/we-17-18-50-round-extended-magazine/

  7. Are they not the old pre-NS2 TMP magazines? I've got one upstairs somewhere, I'll check later but it could be the old Style.
  8. Am I the only one seeing the obvious here? If the main reason you're wanting to buy 2nd hand is because of the lower price, why not just buy a second hand two-tone? Everyone wins that way.
  9. They would have to play themselves if they wanted to purchase it or you will have to wait until you're 18, there's no way around it I'm afraid.
  10. It's going to differ from all sorts of variables, so there's no X=y when it comes to springs unfortunately, there's only telling what it'll do in your specific set up. I would try an M140 or M130 to start with and go from there. As mentioned above, buy a chrono so you can test it at home, and also chrono on whatever weight ammo you're going to be using and base the power output on that, you'll likely find that due to joule creep, you'll get a higher power out of those, and your power on 0.20s will be lower.
  11. I'd ask them. If it's anything like most ones running this rule, the site has always provided them. They likely won't be actual bandages, but syrips of white cloth you have to tie onto the injured player.
  12. Hi there! I'm down the road a bit in Hartlepool. You've got several sites in the area: NSC near the airport. Woodland gaming on a Paintball site. No limits - indoor CQB in Gateshead NTAC - small woodland site near Pittington Dirty dog - probably the main site in the area, a container village with woodland and open ground. Located at Shildon District 23 - similar to no limits. Billingham by the train station. Adrenalin - another Paintball site, near Richmond. Stirling airsoft - themed airsoft that tends to run weekend events around once a month, set on Catterick army base.
  13. Lovely. The CYMA AK74U I bought yesterday at the MAF that was "Doing 320" is actually over 370.

Guess I'm gonna have to open it up. ?

"Just drop 0.28g in for the chrono made, lovely gun, beautiful plumage."

Well it's down to around 325 now, so that's better now. ?

  14. Omw back from the Midlands Airsoft Fair.

It was okay, but not quite as good as the last one in 2019, imo.

Picked up a CYMA AK74U, a few mags & sights and that was about it.

Typical that I realised I could have got myself a railed upper receiver for it there too, only AFTER I'm on the way home. ??

  15. Try outdoor and Tactical. They don't do the super heavyweight ammo in bio, but you can get Geoffs naturals up to at least 0.45g. https://www.outdoorandtactical.co.uk/product-category/consumables/bbs/bio
  16. Ahhhhh, that'll be why then! Yeah that explains it, thanks!
  17. Strange. I get no option at all unless I choose a different country. ?
  18. So what's the status on new orders with them currently? Are new orders for UK customers on hold still? I see lots of people having delays, but I've tried filling in an order out of curiosity and I'm not even getting the option to put one through; it gives me "Your shopping cart contains the following errors:Choose delivery method" But there's no option to choose anything.
  19. UKARA set minimum engagement distances now apparently?

    That's news to me. ? ? ?

      Maybe he meant 50 feet...

You know, when you use an inferior unit for measures that relies on fuck all logic :P

Let's just say the head marshal hates snipers.

on a serious note, sites should figure out at what distance a heavy bb fired at 2.3J drops its energy to a "safe" level (say 1J). Your 20m bog standard MED was calculated on a 0.20g bb being fired at 500 fps, we all know that heavy bbs retain their energy for a longer time/distance and that nobody with at least one working brain cell would use 0.2s in a 2.3J gun.

No, he definitely meant metres. "I was in the army, I know distances!" ?

Like I say, I've no problem with sites running any rules they want, just the passing bullshit off as fact. ?

@Skara i did run the math on it, a 2.5j shot with a 0.2gbb has 0.39j at 20m, with a 0.5g bb you're talking 1.27j, which lines up surprisingly well with a 1.3j limit for auto/non MED pews

  20. Haha, too old for that! Some of it was from myself and the rest from the missus!
  21. Got some new bits as a birthday treat, can't wait to actually get out and use them finally!
  22. You can always get a small ring connector for the wire and use the little screw to secure it that way.
  23. I joined the ever-growing AAP owners recently, and treated myself to the AA hop unit. Paired it with a 130mm ZCI barrel from @ak2m4 So I can replace the whole hop & barrel in one go, and keep the original set up if needed. Currently using a flamingo V2, but I've also got a couple of maple leaf buckings on order too. (I thought I had some more spare, but obviously not). Can't wait to get out & use it next weekend!
  24. Not from TG or GF, but ordered from airsoftpro in Czechia and just had it arrive yesterday without a problem via DHL. Express shipping (4-5 days), no charges or duty paid on it (so far).
