From what I remember (Cyma/Cybergun same pew?) I had to shim my Cyma Thompson screw as it was able to be tightened too much to the point it wouldn’t fire but if it was loose the grip was also loose. The same happened on the dodgy KA one I bought off of here a while back, to the point there was at least half a centimetre gap from receiver to pistol grip to get it to work. Not a guarantee it’s the same issue, obviously, but that was my issue so maybe the same for you?

The more you use it, the Velcro will wear in and make it easier whilst still securing it better

They've only just restocked the hop unit for the PKM after about 8 months, the mag insert has been out of stock for a few years and they don't carry the gen 2 gearbox shell...

Well my bullgear stuff arrived today. 26 days from the day they posted it to my door step which isn't terrible from Russia. Everything seems to be okay, however I am disappointed by Bullgear themselves and their lack of customer service. Not sending me any tracking information until I sent them a few emails asking for updates which was less than ideal - However the items did arrive, and it was far cheaper than buying over here (If over here had the stuff in stock...) Now to work out how it all works 😂

They don't break as easily as the cheaper clones, however I'd assume they'd still be around the £150 mark broken. If it's just for appearances you can get a WADSN one from AliExpress for £40 right now which has IR supposedly as well

So you do indeed have the gen 2 mags. I can only assume TWI has done something different to the position of the catch or something silly as the gen 1's worked beautifully. It might be worth asking in the RUSFOR facebook groups, perhaps someone with gen 2 mags could help further

Are they 150 or 180 rounds? Yeah, stock hop unit in both replicas. However the mags I had where the gen 1’s, so perhaps something has changed?

All of the Airsoft under folders are terrible because of how little support the under folder actually has. Unlike the real thing which is a full on bar (I believe, been a while since I’ve had a real steel under folder in front of me) it gets really weak over time and will end up failing. The GHK is probably the only reliable under folder (but still suffers the same issues) but also the most unreliable internals unless you win the GHK lottery TL;DR you got a much better deal lol

To stop shrapnel, debris etc from hitting them in the face. Military and police have been using them for a long time

You can delete ads by going to the ad, scrolling down to "Advert Actions" then "hide" but it doesn't help with the timer sadly
