  1. Long as it's not just me, I'll wait till it's sorted and catch up then. Thanks.
  2. I can't leave feedback at the moment, or is it just me? Had 2 great purchases from here recently from battlegirlA and QHDCSX.
  3. So, I've had another play. If I put full hop on, the bbs get stuck in the bucking. It's gotta be either the spring or the rubber bucking surely? Modify Predator Hop Up Bucking is the one I've fitted, but I don't know what spring is in it unfortunately.
  4. A few recommended that to me yesterday, unfortunately I have tried them several times in the past without success. I just couldn't take to them. I have several eye issues, and glasses suit me as I'm rather ugly... 😆
  5. I'm having a few issues and could do with some advice. I don't have access to a chronograph unfortunately at the moment, getting one after Christmas. It's underpowered for sure. So it's got an Airsoft pro cylinder with upgraded spring, follower, cylinder and piston head. Id only shot it in the garage at about 5m, but it was perfectly accurate. I added a maple leaf 430mm barrel and their 70' bucking. And a couple of barrel stabilisers. It has the original hop unit but the pro hop arm thing. I've had it apart 5 or 6 times now, so I'm fairly confident I've done the work properly. But Its my first Airsoft sniper I've worked on. I have resealed pcps etc in the past without issues I drilled out the end of the barrel carefully to fit the longer barrel halfway into the gspec silencer. I've resealed the cylinder head with one layer of that white tape. PTFE I think. Did it with the direction of the thread. Also one layer over the barrel and bucking thing. Took it to Airsoft yesterday, but it would only shoot to 10m before dropping off. Was using .32s as it's the heaviest I have at the moment. I didn't have time to look at it or borrow a chronograph yesterday as was busy setting up the other gear for my son and his mates, so back home now looking at it Also has upgraded trigger unit from Airsoft pro. I got new pistol seal and changed that over too. The 1st one was very loose, but so are the new ones. I believe this is normal for them? Any advice gratefully received. Thanks
  6. 100% I do. But not that size... 😆
  7. I've took it apart and removed some of the foam and adjusted the exfog pipes. I was sat in the middle of the lounge floor away from all the furniture and I've still managed to lose a screw... Wot the fuk... I've even stripped off and searched under the sofas. Even got my son to look. 😆
  8. I'll bear that in mind, there was little wind today either which probably didn't help. Not my best day of Airsofting, fell over a few times and took a lot of hits. Son and his mates enjoyed it though. Thanks again
  9. Thanks, yep I tried that today, and have the scars and bruises to show for it. We play in forest and scrub land and I kept getting minor cuts and scrapes from branches and of course the head shots 😆. I also stripped off most of my layers. I wasn't hugely active and running about either. I'm 50 and my back was sore. It was a particularly humid day though. As had rained and them sun came out. Thanks again. I'll order some now. Thank you.
  10. Thank you for the reply, yes I still used the spray. I let it dry thn buffed it as advised. I tried the spit technique before that without any luck. 😆 Any suggestions on a brand? I'll try anything right now. It's full face, and has good ear and face cover. I'll try and remove a bit of foam where it looks safe. Thanks again.
  11. Hi all. I'm still having fogging issues when playing Airsoft. It's getting me down as I just can't see anything, especially as I wear glasses underneath them. I've brought the above mask and an exfog unit. It has the double pain lenses, but someone at Airsoft today said I can get mesh lenses for it? I can't find any online though. I've tried antifogging sprays but they still don't make much difference for very long. Can anyone please make any suggestions, I used a grill mask thing today but my glasses still streamed up but not as bad. I'm basically half blind at the moment and a walking target.. Had so many headshots today I look like I have small pox. 😆 Many thanks. I'm debating cutting out most of the foam. Would that help and be safe?
  12. This advert is COMPLETED!

Hi, looking for a hop unit upgrade for a nuprol M4 freedom fighter please. Either from one of you guys or link would be brilliant. Thanks. I ordered the one suggested below, only 12 quid Inc postage. Absolute bargain. Thanks for the suggestion mate.

    Ask for price

  13. Welcome, great intro mate. I also have to try to hide my new purchases carefully, unfortunately the son grasses me up...
  14. Great bags, I've a couple.
  15. I'm guessing you don't want something military looking to not draw attention? The main two I use for hiking/camping are osprey and sierra designs, 55 and 80 litres. Id go to an outdoor shop and see what feels comfortable to wear with your bike leathers/jacket. Google search says your rif is 77cm long? That's too long for both my bags by about 5 to 10 cm, just measured them.
  16. Another from postman Pat this morning, via the classified section off here. This one I don't have to wait till Christmas for. Was supposed to be for the lad, but I think I'm going to struggle to hand it over. Will replace the scope for something better, I have some spares off my old airguns. Already stripped it down and reassembled it for fun, rather simply to do really as you lot will know. The piston head was a little loose, but it fires better now. Definitely need to get a Chrono next payday 😆 The pistol was a cheap bonus as I have one already that's playing up a bit. This one has the striker hop.
  17. New gun day. ❤️ Tac 41 lite, it's reputation preceeds it. Beautifully made and well presented in its box. I opted to get the extra 110 shot magazine for aesthetics and functionality, it came with the smaller one already in the box and an extra spring. The quality is evident, especially the aluminium receiver/scope mount. Glad I opted for this rather than the sport version. It's quick and easy to assemble, there's instructions in the box but being a man I didn't need them. Id watched enough YouTube reviews before purchasing to know how to put it together. I'll be purchasing more mags and the recon stock from fire support in the future to give me more flexibility in the field but for now I'm a very satisfied customer. Unfortunately I'm not allowed it till Christmas, so I haven't properly fired it yet but the action is smooth and it all functions perfectly. Can't wait for Christmas. Thanks to impulse and others for the recommendation.
  18. I love the classified section on here, but my wife doesn't. 😆
  19. In the old army buildings near everleigh by any chance? I found a dummy anti tank bar mine thing near there and was cycling home with it when I got stopped by the mps. And my first driving lessons were on the army test tracks. 😆 Dad was ex army, but carried on working for the MOD in ludgershall camp on the tanks Childhood was so much fun in those days. No games consoles, and less weirdos about. First proper job was working in tidworth camp kitchens, was great fun.
  20. Salisbury? I was born in odstock hospital! 😆 Yep running round in combats in that area definitely gonna attract attention. As it should. I think we all agree, discretion is sensible for the sake of our sport. I regularly read about idiots in the daily mail who flaunt Rifs and risk our sport.
  21. Tac 41 on its way, from firesupport. (They were cheapest and had it in stock) They didn't have the recon stock version but I will purchase the separate stock later along with the silencer and a couple of extra mags. Thanks for the advice, much appreciated.
  22. Ok, I'll get the non sport. Thanks again.
  23. Thanks again for your time and effort in your reply. I played a lot with co2 in my crosman and umarex air/paintball guns, it has it's limits but it's convenient for sure. I have a huge tin full of caplets, never under a 100 or I start to worry. I'm a hoarder for sure. Have about 40,000 bbs here as well and the same amount of paintballs and pellets in all calibres even ones I don't own a airgun for just in case. 😆 I've looked around and your suggestion of the tac41 recon seems to suit me and my needs best. The sport version is obviously cheaper and lighter, but I'm not tempted that much with the plastic scope rail. But it would give more money for the internals. What do you think? I suspect it won't get a lot of use, knowing my son. We play on a large 120 acre site so it seems to suit sniping. Lots of trees and things to get the rif bashed against. Again, thanks for the detailed reply. Rick
  24. As above, please don't do it. You'd be nuts to do it in the current situation and environment.
