  1. Let's just set things straight: the G&G hop up isn't bad, neither is the TM motor. What we're saying is that its possibly not as good as you've been led to believe. If it's making a decent RoF, don't panic. Address the actual issues first, namely - where is all the compression getting out? As I said earlier it may even just be a badly fitted or knackered hop rubber.
  2. Personally I'd have the SAW back unless the M4 can be made to work reliably and is EPIC. There's plenty of "custom M4" builds out there that just don't warrant the price tag that the sellers seem to want. I could certainly never make back the money I spent doing up mine (certainly over £400) because at the end of the day, it's still just an M4.
  3. Most of those parts wouldn't make me think "uber leet high spec build" to be honest. The gearbox should be pretty sound though. Lack of compression may be nozzle to hop seal or piston head o-ring or even a shitty nozzle alone. If it's not working properly then the cost of the parts is irrelevant in what the actual gun is worth.
  4. The bigger issue is how that delta nut goes on. Is it threaded? ie does it have a "star" shaped centre nut that can be unscrewed? If not you may not be able to get a free float rail that will go on.

    Another new bfg

    Impact.
  6. Probably. No actual idea but chances are slightly higher than the DCS given the functionality.
  7. Anyone know if the WAS quick mags can be double stacked?

the taco style pouches? yeah they can. Very solid too as you can reroute the bungee cord through the first pouch to further eliminate movement and solidify it.

Cool, thanks. Looking at getting a couple for my M14 mags.

  8. Is this the one that is on FB with a mashed flash hider thread? Seriously, take it apart and measure it. You'll have to take it apart to fit a new one so why piss about now?
  9. Well, obvs! Looks nice. Might have to trade up from the 901 for one of those.
  10. Tape measure.
  11. Is this the one you mean? http://www.6mm-magazine.com/en/iwa-outdoorclassics-2015-warrior-assault-system/
  12. Meu because glocks are boring.
  13. Yay! Bit of a result. Found a site selling a copy of the sage rail for $99 a a good buddy in the US that has agreed to forward it for me!
  14. Take it to a shop/tech. Without wanting to be rude you sound like you don't know enough to not screw it up completely. But to be honest it's either a bent barrel or the hop/rubber/barrel are misaligned.
  15. With the kind of attitude displayed on this thread, is it any wonder more girls don't play?
  16. Can you not just block his ip address?
  17. Developments are afoot! Found a site that sels that mount and have it reduced to $99 at the minute! Just need to find someone to ship it to me now. They won't ship internationally
  18. Nobody really cares if you have a 2tone gun. If they do then they're the nobs, not you. It CAN give away your position so maybe go for the camo tape option (as you can then take it off come the end of the day) but don't sweat it. We all started somewhere.
  19. To be fair it's a case of buy a scope without mount for £75 or buy almost the exact same scope WITH a mount for £80. Bit of a no brainer really. If the mount's crap I'll junk it and get the LaRue stylee one.
  20. Haha! Yeah, had that at the Malls. Someone that had come over from Bristol way got massively upset because she got shot in the head while she was on a stairwell (someone leaned over the rail above and popped her in the noggin). There's no rules about not shooting people on the stairs at the Malls other than semi only.
  21. Yeah. Bugger that though! I can't justify spending damn near the cost of the gun to mount a £70 scope! I have found a similar setup that I'm going to aim for though: The scope I've found comes with an offset mount but it has rail sections on the scope rings. Not sure I like it but we'll see what it's like before I take the plunge on a LaRue style one like the one above.
  22. That doesn't go away, just so you know. Welcome, both of you!
  23. As long as you lace them up properly 6" boots can offer plenty of ankle support (equally badly laced 8" boots will offer you none). I went from 8" Magnums to Meindl Desert Fox's (also high legs) then to Merrel Sawtooths (6" ish). There's been no significant loss of ankle support to my mind and the 6" boots are a touch lighter too. If you stick with a good brand then you should be fine.
  24. HOLY SHITBALLS! They're not cheap! Having exercised a bit of google-fu it appears that specific mount is made by Sage and costs $200. Plus nobody seems to want to ship to the UK. Why do I always want the most expensive bits?
