Cheapest would be to just replace the Falcon MOSFET with a old-school mechanical trigger. Have you got any old switches lying around?

Yep went down that road, had a nice prototype system knocked up but based on feedback security / gdpr was a big concern and increasing cost to the project. I agree it's not in the interest of the controlling members of UKARA to encourage sales of 2nd hand rifs.

yeah up to the task, however that price is insanely high and if you wanted reliability then SHS at half the price or Solink would have been the better option. I used to sell these but I was getting a reports of screws coming loose and shafts snapping so gave them the boot.

Difficult to say, you mentioned your gears broke with 18:1 but you've put 14:1 in which is going to add more stress. What brand of 14:1 gears? I only know 1 type and if it's the one's thinking about they have a cast sector gear.

@Kha0s should be super easy to get your existing aeg's in order - just a re-grease, some new orings and a new hop rubber. Maybe a new spring - dead easy ? If you get stuck plenty of video's and help on here

Any gearbox should be able to handle a M105, it's not until you get to M130 and above you can start to have issues with motor, gears and battery. Of course not all M105's are the same, was it one of mine or an ASG?

these guys are based in Netherlands I believe, although that might be a front for a Chinese company - lot of stuff goes through NL. Price is indeed pretty decent, £65 for the SLR, says shipped via GLS. All Nylon of course. I purchased a sample MAXIM branded M4 from the factory in China, and it's really nice externally. I also have a converted SLR. Super easy to convert to airsoft, just need new gearbox, inner barrel and hop chamber.

@Pseudotectonic all good intentions, I agree 100%. I highly doubt it UPS has access. Guessing Border Force has some type of access? Asked my friend who works in IT for them and he's never heard of it before. I remember someone here doing a FOI check and it gave back with nothing. Given the fact UKARA is owned by a UK retailer doesn't make sense for them to make it easy to import.
