  1. Depending how often you play, I would suggest the 'storage' option if there is one or leave them as they are until the next game. From info I've seen, its best to leave LiPo's about 70% charged for storing. Give them a full charge the day before a game.
  2. Give it time... They tend to accumulate ? To add a bit of context: About half were bought new and the most I spent on one was £370 (M41A) My fave at the moment is the Lonex M4 BAW I'll have to do a video on it as the kick is unbelievable.
  3. Latest family reunion Do you ever get the feeling its time for a bigger sofa?
  4. Pity because their P01 is rather good. I guess all companies have their good and bad sheep... (I'm looking at you WE Hi-Power ?)
  5. Hmmm, no experience with th TM SGR12 but does the motor area or battery get warm/hot in auto before it cuts off? Obviously something getting overloaded. Hopefully someone here will know more...
  6. NiMh is a bit old tech. Have a read here. Li-Po (Lithium Polymer) are more common now as they do not have any memory effect and can store more power in a smaller package (Higher power density)
  7. Oh yes definitely, if considering the cost of airsofting as a hobby these expenses do add up, especially now with the cost of fuel. Hopefully fuel price will come down a bit when things settle down. (Crude oil price has come down a bit since the peak but I haven't seen if they've reduced at the pump)
  8. Ya that's probably it. I was looking at the price of a RIF in TG a few weeks ago and the price was varying by a few pounds daily.
  9. That would be cool ? (Especially if you took bespoke orders ?)
  10. Glad you're OK whatever it was ?
  11. Yeah, duno but doesn't matter anymore.
  12. I had a shopping cart with things since last November and the prices have gone up a bit but I think that's more to do with the exchange rate variations (from to Ukraine situation I think) Their prices are still better than UK (on most RIFs at least and they have more stock than UK) but I deleted the shopping cart when it became clear that they are no longer a viable source. ?
  13. I don't think you can count sundries on a game day as that depends on how individuals play. Travel expenses can't really be compared either. But regarding entry fees... At sites I know, Red Alert in Bucklebury is the best value at £27.50 (used to be £25) including lunch (just a pizza tho I think) The other site I frequent is Skirmish Wycombe at £30 including lunch (good food) is fair too. I try to bring sundries such as BB's, gas, snacks and water so I don't spend so much there but I'll usually buy a few extra drinks if needed.
  14. CYMA are good and CyberGun are OK too but not sure who OEM is. I like this one which allows for a longer inner barrel to be used. (I have the ClassicArmy version which is no longer available) Don't get the Hi-Cap mags as they don't work well. Either use mid-caps or this with a hi-cap M16 Vietnam style magazine. Unfortunately stock is very low on everything right now ?

  16. Can't hurt to oil it. Moving parts always have to wear in.
  17. Have you checked YouTube for disassembly videos?
  18. Welcome ? Well on the way into addiction ? What general area are you in?
  19. If its coming from Europe to UK then yes, you will have to pay 20% VAT of the total including delivery plus duty unless they have some arrangement.
  20. Surprised that would happen to a Bolt. From the prices I thought they were more sturdy
  21. Yes, standard v3 gearsets are interchangeable. Shimming has to be checked of course.
