I am going to regret asking but... Vorsk parts VM9 pistol
Daveoc33 replied to Egon_247's topic in General Help
I could be way off with this but I'm sure I saw a negative airsoft video where he rebuilt his Kwa TMP (stockless mp9) with vorsk vmp-1 parts. I'm wondering if you could use an exploded tmp diagram as a guide. It's amazing there's so little online for vorsk parts or diagrams! I only had a quick look and I saw that a vorsk vmp-2 is a thing (a ruger 10/22 like thing) but that's for another thread. -
I wanted to know the answer to this as well. Gas guns can be a pain! This thread has some opinions on it but when all is said and done you're probably best off buying whichever one you think looks cooler ?

I've been after a tac41 for a while now the price was always just in that slightly uncomfortable zone. It looks like they are releasing some new ones with polymer parts at a cheaper price point. Due spring 2024. Tac-41 lite (a tac-41a with a polymer stock) £300ish Tac 41 lite sport line (as above with a polymer receiver and hop unit etc) 200 euros-ish. They are also sticking the polymer receiver in the full length tac41 p and doing that cheaper too. I'm guessing the polymer won't be as durable as the aluminium but I suspect it'll really depend on the polymer used and the structure of the receiver. https://www.longbowbb.co.uk/product-page/tac-41-lite I'm not sure why longbow say its not compatible with the M95 Newton spring "Warning: Not compatible with SBA-SPR-08 (95 Newton spring)." https://www.silverback-airsoft.com/pdf/silverback-airsoft_TAC-41_lite_user_manual_english.pdf

https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/jing-gong-smg-5-sd-full-stock Here's the link. I have the sliding stock version of this and it shoots easily as well as my cyma mp5 that cost £200. The only issue is the hop unit is that lever at the rear of the handguard which resets itself when you shoot. An easy fix is to just wedge something in the lever to stop it moving. If these shoot like mine this really is a bargain!

I'd be interested even though I don't thing I have anything that needs doing now I don't think. Postage would be easier if the client could disassemble the gun and just post the part they want engraving. The bit that makes me hesitate the most on getting anything engraved is knowing what happens if the engraver messes up and I'm left with a ruined slide/receiver. Unlikely for sure but good to know for transparency. Examples for work done would be good to see like we see from "custom gbb" on here. Good luck with this regardless. I'm sure there'll be plenty of interest.

Make sure that right hand grip on the m9 is secure. It only has 1 screw holding it in. The RH grip holds a spring in place that loves to go flying. Price wise I'd guess at £100 for the tm 1911. You'll want to get the slide off the m9 to see if it's adjustable hop or not. A lot are fixed hop. Fixed hop £60 adjustable £90. Given you can't test the m14 it hard to price but if it's not working it should still be worth around £100-£140. It it's working then somewhere around the £200 mark. That's just the rifle though. For the extra bits you could just do a 2/3 what they are worth new calculation.

I hadn't thought of this. Good point!

I don't understand why a clone of an MWS is priced at around the same price as a TM MWS. I must be missing something! It's great there's clone options now for parts at least (I haven't found the cyma gbbr mags though - possible saving...) I thought the whole point of a clone was you get the same thing but a bit cheaper. https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/cyma-cgs-10-5-m4a1-cqb-gbbr

I'm getting email notifications again now. Thanks for fixing this ?

I think action hobbies use begadi as a supplier. It may be worth seeing if thry can order what you need the next time they place an order with begadi.

Thanks guys! Good to know you know the point of failure:) Best of luck with that spam solution

I'm not sure if I've missed an announcement here but I'm no longer getting email notifications when I get a dm. My account settings say I should get an email when I receive a dm. At least one person has mentioned they didn't get a notification when I've replied to them. I've checked spam/junk folders. The last email notification I received was on the 18th Jan. Not sure if there been a change made since then.

I think that big m4 mag is from a cheap spring sa80. Looks like this one to me: https://www.kombatkit.co.uk/hfc-airsoft-ha202--211-magazine-sa80-replica-spring-powered-bb-gun-replacement-part-6224-p.asp

Novritsch SSR63 (SL8 / G36 DMR) - video review
Daveoc33 replied to RostokMcSpoons's topic in Latest News
I too have a thing for a thumbhole stock ? and I was excited to see this rifle getting released. I've seen other videos of this SL8 and the thing that puts me off is that the barrel kind of wobbles. It's not firmly seated. I'll try to find the video and post it here. I think this is a JG SL8 with upgrades. Skip to 13:30 if you want to see the barrel wobble thing. There's a few other bits this guy isn't keen on. -
This has been out for a while but I only heard about it today. It's a red dot combined with a thermal scope. Half my battle when playing in woodland is finding the campers hiding in a bush! This one is $10k but surely someone is going to clone this at some point? I thought it looked cool anyway. Definitely a pay-to-win option. https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2021/02/19/friday-night-lights-steiner-cqt/

Action hobbies said they're getting these in at around £450 on preorder.

I find the cyma gearboxes tend to sound nicer and be a bit crisper than jg ones. Perhaps they are better shimmed. It it were me I'd lean towards the cyma. Saying that, I own a JG sl8 (thumbhole stock g36) and I'm really happy with it. As Roger says there isn't much in it really.

For army armament parts Tiger111 are my go to, but whether they have exactly what you're after or not a can't say. https://airsoft.tiger111hk.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=R608

Firesupport seem to have some new stuff in their boneyard and clearance sections. A TM Mp5A4 for £165. Some LCT AKS for £200-250. And some G&p front ends at around £100. https://www.fire-support.co.uk/category/special-offers/?manufacturer=&stock=1&submit.x=7&submit.y=14
