  1. I finished fully upgrading my Snow Wolf M41A Pulse Rifle (v6 gearbox) including barrel/hopup, (literally almost everything internal replaced or upgraded): After about 8 months since purchasing it and spending most of that time fiddling with it and upgrading / trying to get it to fire straight, it finally is finished and works perfectly. I present the most powerful M41A in the UK: https://imgur.com/a/1f74kOC Parts: M41A Upgrades / Mods - (M41A) Maple Leaf Hop Up Tensioner (Omega Nub) - £6.00 - (M41A) Maple Leaf Macaron Hop Rubber Bucking 60 Degrees (AEG) - £7.50 - (M41A) ASG INFINITY CNC Motor U-30000 (Short) - £54.99 - (M41A) Aluminium piston head with the bearing [Shooter] - £6.79 - (M41A) Light Reinforced Piston Metal Teeth [SHS] - £8.67 - (M41A) Laylax (Prometheus) - Air Nozzle - £15.78 - (M41A) SLD 13:1 Gears (CNC Bevel Version) - £18.50 - (M41A) Lonex Aluminium Cylinder Head for Version 6 - £11.00 - (M41A) Prometheus EG Spring Guide Tornado Shaft (Version 6 & 7) - £19.00 - (M41A) PDI AEG 100% (M95) Silicon Chrome Steel Spring Variable Pitch - £18.52 - (M41A) Guarder Steel Bushing for Version 6 Gearbox (P90/Thompson) - £13.50 - (M41A) STAINLESS CYLINDER WITH HOLE 3/4 (Shooter) - £16.93 - (M41A) Madbull 6.03 Tightbore Barrel 300mm Black Python II - £42.59
  2. What on earth is this holy grail gun?
  3. Golden Eagle M8877 - purchased from here - https://www.wgcshop.com/products?search_From=category&item=golden-eagle-m8877-gas-shotgun-wood
  4. I put a couple drops of abbey silicone oil on the o-ring and then wrapped the thread in plumbing tape, put it back together, a lot less leaking but I only got about 7 shots out of it before I was out of gas - did I maybe not fill the gun up enough in fear of over-filling it? how many seconds (roughly) should I hold the can over the fill port? I usually do it for 5-7 seconds or until it starts 'spewing' out and leaving a liquid residue, so I'm guessing the internal gas storage on the gun isn't huge, but it's nowhere near what I have read as advertised - I should be able to use this as a main, but 7 shots before I'm out is pretty silly. I'm using Nuprol Green Gas V2.0 - would it be better with a different gas? I love this gun though, just holding it and pumping it feels great. (yeah yeah I dropped it move past it)
  5. Came on monday; I got some gas today and after filling it I can hear it hissing out the fill valve. it's slow and quiet but if I stick my ear near I can hear it clearly - rather than returning for a replacement and such would just getting a replacement valve work? I did a quick search on patrolbase and saw that they aren't exactly standardized; https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/baal-gas-filling-valve-for-we-kj-gbb-series / https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/asg-kwa-magazine-bottom-fill-valve - I'll screw the valve out later and wrap the thread in plumbing tape and then try it, also will take a pic of what it looks like - but don't suppose anyone has an answer to this offhand? Thanks. By the way what's the point in the space for 2 extra shells in the cylinder below the barrel? to get them out you have to unscrew this cap on the end which takes about 30 seconds, and it seems to be literally just for storing 2 shells because it doesn't load a new one in or anything. Anyone know how to switch from 3 shot to 6 or back etc? I saw how in a youtube vid a while ago but I can't find the one that shows how again. Thanks in advance. Edit: Valve pics. I wrapped the thread in plumbing tape and put it back in tight, filled it up, can still hear a hissing coming from the valve although not as bad as before. based on what the valve looks like can anyone point me to where I can find a suitable replacement? it looks pretty standard to me and as long as it fits into the stock on the gun I don't see much of a problem with regards to compatability(?). https://imgur.com/a/BtxfqL8
  6. That's actually pretty helpful thanks. I tend to sweat a lot in general so I'm just worried about running about in the cold, sweating, and then stopping and freezing my ass off from the cold sweat.
  7. General question re; harness+belt vs. a plate carrier - does a plate carrier setup help much in the winter we're now getting into? In the summer I'd sweat buckets with just my harness and belt, I suppose a shirt under my invader gear top might help in winter but yeah just wondering how they fare for you guys in different weather. Edit: Might aswell post my helm. Got my new TMC RAC headset in tan today, looks a lot better imo; vs old;
  8. I've got these springs on hand now: Springs - Nuprol M110 AEG Spring - Nuprol M100 AEG Spring - SHS Nonlinear M90 AEG Spring - VFC AEG Spring M90 - PDI AEG 100% (M90) Silicon Chrome Steel Spring Variable Pitch I'm gonna get my own chrono shortly, (ACETECH Airsoft Gun AC6000, good choice?) and try each one. I'm interested to know why the PDI silicon chrome steel spring was so much more expensive than the rest. Engineer said gun was firing 370 fps with 0.20g BBs using the M110 spring, the site limit here is 340, so I'm thinking I'll probably need to drop to M90 (I've seen M95's too). Having a hard time figuring out how to open the gearbox assembly though to change the spring and also install the mosfet wire.
  9. I took it apart as far as separating the 'top' from the 'bottom of the main gun, but from there I had absolutely no idea how to access the spring or open it up. He put a new motor in for me and said to wire up a mosfet I'd need to access the gearbox anyway to wire up the signal wire. what do the other wires hook up to? cause if I can do some Y split on the cables now while I have it open and stick deans connectors on the end it would save time later (maybe?) Also is that good for this gun? I got maple leaf bucking/nub, madbull barrel, and it's got a nuprol 16RPA motor in there.
  10. Well, I remember him saying the seal was great etc or something like that. I guess I need to buy an M90 because and M100 is gonne be over 350 if an M110 is 370. How easy is it to replace the spring in my gun? since I'm buying my own chrono (ACETECH Airsoft Gun AC6000), and I'm waiting for Gate NANOAAB to be returned as the first one was DOA - rather than pay this guy to do it how easy is changing the spring and adding a mosfet? I'm in the process of rebuilding the gun right now so this is what it looks like;
  11. Sorry to necro an old post. I had my pulse rifle sent off to have a new motor, spring, barrel, hopup nub/bucking, mosfet installed. Mosfet ended up being DOA so gotta return that. The spring I Included was a Nuprol M110, the guy said it was chronoing at 370fps and the site limit here is around 340. Would an M100 drop it down to there, or should I look for an M90 or M95? I've found a Nuprol M90 and some M95's https://www.airsoftstation.com/asg-ultimate-upgrade-aeg-spring-blue-m95/ https://www.bullseyecountrysport.co.uk/element-aeg-m95-st-spring-airsoft-5491-p.asp There's others I found elsewhere but all by manufacturers I've not heard of. Thought here? Also what different does it make if a spring is 'piano wire' or 'silicone', 'variable pitch' etc? Why's this M90 spring: https://outdoorandtactical.co.uk/product/pdi-aeg-silicon-chrome-steel-spring-100-m90-variable-pitch/ So much more expensive than eg; https://outdoorandtactical.co.uk/product/vfc-aeg-spring-m90/ , https://www.airsoftstation.com/shs-m90-aeg-spring/ , https://www.krale.shop/en/spring-nuprol-m90-aeg.html , https://www.bullseyecountrysport.co.uk/shs-nonlinear-spring-m90-airsoft-replacement-aeg-spring-7021-p.asp Out of those M90 ones, if the M100 is still gonna be too powerful, which of the M90's should I try? Getting myself a chronograph too so I can test this.
  12. Testing the Tornado 2 again yesterday; (Had a friend holding the phone and didn't do such a great job at recording, but thing is a beast. Both wearing glasses for safety and one of them hit me right in the temple and hurt like fuck).
  13. Filling the AI Tornado 2 It was mostly full anyway but it took about 3x worth of those loaders to fill and I'm pretty sure they are at least 100 capacity. Need to get one of those nuprol 450cpa ones. I messed up with the gas at the end but I wasn't sure if it was full - did I fill it for too long? how do I know when it's done? This is from the other day when I first got it, I don't think I put enough gas in it, but here it is anyway: I'll take another one in a minute. Here's a random video of all my shit after some organizing, I made a little 'go bag' with useful things in it to take with me rather than a big backpack.
  14. If money were no issue.. Edit: My TMC RAC headset just arrived this morning, but the box was crushed to hell and one of the retention clips that secure it to the arc rail is snapped. Pretty pissed off since it's obviously a used/returned unit and they sent me it anyway, can you get spares of this part anywhere or do I need to return the things? helmet would be finished now otherwise. aside from wanting a gopro hero black instead of this xiaomi yi action anyway, but better things to buy before that. Took some pics of the loadout; https://imgur.com/a/DHxcN9D
  15. Not grimdark or gothic enough. More like something from The Expanse. But yeah once I get that scope mounted to the top carry handle I'll probably remove the peq box and laser on the front rails since the scope can do those. Keep the torch.
  16. I'm still planning to bolt a rail to the top of the carry handle and stick one of these sights on it:
  17. I know I can't run with the green laser, it's just for the photoshoot - I plan to swap it with a red one.
  18. I've created a monster.
  19. do you guys actually play with no mouth protection or are these just glamour shots? the thought of being hit in the teeth makes me cringe.
  20. I got a couple extra magazines for my M14A Pulse Rifle, total of 5 now (1 in gun 4 in pouches now), added to belt, how's it looking?
  21. Not tested but they first have to get through the plastic on the mask, this is 'just in case'.
  22. Yeah they aren't super flimsy but I can easily see a few hits weakening it, then next time goes straight through or something. Just not worth the risk when I can glue gun some wire mesh on the inside. There's plenty of space. Even rotates to open up for drinking through which is handy.
  23. Ah good idea. Got a glue gun. Thanks
  24. Added a cover to my helm and tidied it up, think it's pretty much finished aside from wanting to get a TMC headset that you can swivel back from the rear rails, then I can get my light on the straight rail. https://imgur.com/a/BBYItqx Going to add some mesh behind the plastic mouthguard area because I don't trust the plastic and value my mouth. Got some mesh, can cut it to size, what's a good way to glue it inside to the plastic? just something like gorilla glue?
