The 'What have you just bought' Thread

Yeah, but you now either need 2 slings or a QD mount on both, 2 scopes or sights (or both) & 2 PEQ boxes for the looks, they might not share the same mags so either 5-6 mid caps or 2-3 highcaps or both of course, don't forget 2 fore grips (colour matching the pew), what about suppressors, will your tracer fit inside one? Hmmm, a couple of lipo's & a proper charger. It's at this point you'll think... I wonder what an AK feels like... Will I get an SMG for CQB... Sniping looks fun... -

I plead the 5th I noticed the mag that came with it wouldn't lock in the mag well easily & saw this wire which I reckonned was blocking it slightly, I've tucked it behind the magwell & all sorted now. I've got some other MP5 mags to try but the Cyma mag feed is very slightly forward of some of the other mags I have & they need a smack to get them to lock properly. -

No Misses to worry about, hense the collection I have. A wee check on YouTube has it sorted but not the easiest to install. -

A nice fast delivery from HPA-UK... Cyma MP5KPDW. This genuinely surprised me, it's got some weight to it & firing 321.6fps 1.2j on .25's. BUT, omg where the hell do I put the battery??? oo-er. & a wee addition for my HK416A5, an E&C Warden 3.5" suppressor. -
You'll need some way to display the collection you're amassing.

Tectonic Innovations / Extreme Airsoft - Any Issues?
ButcherBill replied to Burrelly's topic in Places to Buy
I've had a few bigish purchases from them, on the whole I've been happy with my purchases but my first one wasn't great, bought an L85A3 from them that appeared(to me) to be a resold returned item with a couple of minor issues, but on another purchase they'd doubled up my order(to their cost). However I've not bought from them since Jan last year so can't say if there are recent issues. -

Postie brought this today courtesy of Bejtival, has some issues that I was well aware of but as a wallhanger those issues really don't matter. This is a bucket list item for me but not sure if I prefer it with or without the grip. -
Tell a lie, I forgot I bid on this for the mags too as the one I have is goosed, the other MP5K was a TM aeg.

To be fair I never even noticed it was GBB, I made offers on the 2 in the classified. One was holding out for more money & the other had other offers that must have outbid me, I went & ordered a new Cyma PDW instead as there was only a £20 ish difference & was likely going to be a wall hanger. & today had 2 notices of missed deliveries on the ONLY day this week that I had stuff planned, guess whose going to be sitting at the door all day tomorrow & Saturday.

No one will see you raiding the fridge in the night. -
S*1t happens.

Patience is a virtue, Alloa is just a few miles away from me & the whole area was affected by storm Eowyn, I'm waiting on a small item too that is being returned by Royal Mail as they can't read my address, I'm pretty sure the posty was juggling it in the high winds & dropped it in a puddle. Your package will arrive soon just like mine.

TBH 70% of current cost is around the £310 mark. You seem take care of your toys so if I was buying the £280-300 would prob be my all in price but I'd prob offer you £230 to start with. ?

It's too cold up here for any other meaningful (to me or Tinder) data. It was the cheapest (that I saw) on Fleabay or Amazon, had no idea it could waste more of my time than noting fps on a spreadsheet I have.
-
Do I feel a dufuss or what? Got one of these well over a year ago and got it out to check the fps & j's of the toys I've recently bought but it wasn't working, was sure this had happened before & it just needed charging up so I plugged it in and went searching for reasons for the error on YouTube, as I was watching a review from an Aussie guy I realised the model I had could connect to the app on my phone (once I downloaded it). I'm on holiday this week so guess what I'll be doing all week... Nope, not the hoovering (that badly needs done) Nope, not the laundry (that badly needs doing) Nope, not the Eowyn garden tidy (that badly needs doing) or any other chore that I can ignore for a few days. This week, I'll mainly be saving data (that I really don't need) to an app on my phone.

I really didn't like how my wall looked in the pics above so I spent some time today fixing it. Still need to find a place for a G36C, Scar-L both two tones that I'll rattle can some day & an M4 I'll just put behind my Mk18mod1.

Yeah, just had a look
-
To be fair I've seen you selling some great items.
-
Have you tried Co2 mags? I believe they work better in the cold & you might not fall into the HPA 'dream'

My comment was in jest, if you do a word search in the classifieds it'll give you a fair idea of a second hand price in the UK, if you're from the states then this isn't the best place to ask as availability & market prices will be different. In saying that... well done, it's a fantastic prize.
