  1. I knew I'd get one eventually... had to buy these from the classifieds tho. Not sure if it was deliberate but the rif in the blue & white patch needs the hop adjusting ?
  2. TBF, you've only made 3 posts/comments.
  3. I've got the TM one I bought used from the classifieds, never been fielded by me or ever likely to be while I have it. All I can say is it looks & feels great, springs a real heave to cock so I'm naturally gonna assume it'll fire 3 bb's a mile away carving trees down as they go. Realistically it crono'd at .66j 262.2fps on .2's but shotties are notoriously difficult to crono accurately.
  4. A lovely TM MP5 arrived yesterday, in great condition for an older model.
  5. I kinda agree with the above, but... on a serious-ish note, the only influence I imagine any "large airsoft company in the UK" could offer me as a consumer is a better variety of non AR or AK based rif's. I could easily be wrong here but as a fat balding 57 yr old with some disposable income & an interest in UK/NATO Cold War era kit I'm paying through the nose for surplus gear from abroad as the UK distributers constantly have kit listed but, out of stock when I want to empty my wallet. BB's are expensive but plentiful Gas is expensive but plentiful Rif's are expensive but I understand why stock may take longer to obtain by companies as stocking inventory ain't cheap Some rifs are harder to find in the UK but plentiful in the asian markets(for obvious reasons), & for us in the UK there are many hurdles our imports have to leap before they are finally delivered to our doors & constantly hoping all the t's were crossed & i's dotted between HK/Taiwan and No5 Hopeful Crescent. Our laws are tight in the UK & rightly so, I just wish some unobtainium rif's could be bought from within the UK (or from 'our European warehouse'). On a personal note... more Uzi's, more L1A1's (especially with wooden furniture), more GPMG's, more Sterlings etc. I'll be visiting Raresoft asap due to their selection of items. All you have to do is visit the 'What have you just bought' section to see what members of this forum want from retailers in the UK.
  6. Just as well you noticed the cracked piston before you threw it out.
  7. Driving home along the A720 I occasionally see squadies from 3 Rifles based at Dreghorn Barracks on a public path/training area at the base of the Pentlands, I bet if I parked up and went scouring with a metal detector I'd find a few 'souvenirs' of the L85 variety.
  8. Some fantastic items, I'll be visiting as soon as finances allow.
  9. Just some midcap & lowcap mags, in case I decide to take my AUG to a gameday.
  10. A purple people popper.
  11. Excuse my ignorance but what is a H8ers apart from a twat arguing about slow airsofters getting hit by 6mm BB's?
  12. Am I too late to mention Nazi's or has the argument ended?
  13. Triggered much? ?
  14. And/or a Lewis.
  15. Is that the airsoft equivelant of a 'Hot Hatch'?
  16. Kudos for asking the question tho.
  17. True, still got loads in a battery safe... actually the NiMh's I have are bunched up in a helmet cover, including a house brick NiMh that came with my Famas.
  18. Better than the last barracks I was in.
  19. Guess I better start cleaning barrels & charging batteries.
  20. With a ruger mini 14 soon too, anyone know where I can pickup a GMC Vandura? (yes I had to google that bit).
  21. There's even a BIG red banner telling you the rules to sell in the classifieds
  22. TBH that battery will probably fit your NEXT rif, everyone needs an AR variant in their life.
  23. & as a Mod you're gonna be fast tracked to Sandhurst. An interesting development, I see it as a possitive bit of news regarding airsoft, certainly beats the usual wally in a Tube Station waving a RIF about headlines. If this is successful, we might be able to expect a bigger range of L85's, more Virtus kit (clones or simply more on the marketplace), possibly an incentive for airsoft manufacturers to release a range of KS1's too, which should in theory make them cheaper but demand would probably still keep the price high. Realistically I honestly think this could be good for our hobby, but given the international current affairs I wouldn't be surprised if conscription wasn't seriously considered for our younger generation and the use of airsoft in recruiting is a baby step towards a much bigger end goal.
